As He Locks His Lips With Mine (Chris Evans X Reader)

He made me like valentine's day.

I think we had been sitting on the floor for about 20 minutes not saying anything just holding each other.
We both needed it after the words that had been spoken and I'm happy he knows now what was going on but I can't help to feel a bit taken down by knowing a part of him doesn't trust me but I can't completely blame him for that.

"I'm so sorry." He says not looking at me so I take his face in my hands to make him look at me and I see so much guilt in his eyes.
I don't want him to feel like that "It's alright Chris." And I kiss him deeply.

After a while he breaks the kiss and looks at me a little more relaxed. "So are you ready for my surprise now?"

I can't help but smile. "Yes I am."

"Alright let's get ready to go." He says and we grab a few things and get ready to go.

Sitting in my car him driving and his hand on my thigh feels so perfect and I never knew how much I needed that until now.
I never was very fond of things like that but somehow I need it from him.

We are just enjoying the music and singing a long to it and it doesn't take long for is to arrive at Scotts house.
Scott was out for his Valentine's day and Chris did wanted to kinda take me out so he arranged some things there.
We could have gone to Chris his house but he figured more chances for us to be caught by the paps and that is something we didn't want to happen yet.

We walk inside the house and to my surprise he didn't go full out and I'm very grateful for that but of course Chris is still the King of romance so there are still a lot of roses red, white, pink even some blue because he knows it's my favorite color.

There are a lot of red paper hearts hanging everywhere all different sizes.

There is a table in the dining room full of food and it looks amazing I see he even has found my favorite wine.
Well you can't really call it that but it's rosé with elderflower and mint.
I am literally at awe I can't say anymore that I don't care about a day like this.
I think you can't fully understand this if someone never made you feel this special and I can't help myself letting my emotion's getting the best of me and let go of some tears.

He looks at me makes me face him and cleans of my tears with his thumbs. "Those better be happy tears." He says with a chuckle.

He makes me smile. "Well yeah mostly." He raises his eyebrow and I continue. "And you also made me like valentine's day and you completely ruined it for anyone else my expectations are high now so you better not get tired of me."

He gets a look and I think it's a mix of love and a slight worry. "First of all you did the same to me after your surprise this morning and second there is no way I would ever get tired of you." I do look at him a bit in disbelief and he sees it he gives me a little kiss and he continues. "After this morning there is really no way babe you showed me how much you love and care for me no one has ever done that for me. Nobody has ever shown that they had those feelings for me and for the first time I'm not afraid and I know it's not one sided."

Of course his little speech made me cry even more and I really want some wine now so I give him a little kiss grab his hand and walk to the table.

He pulls out my chair like a real gentleman makes sure we have wine and everything.
I'm happy the food was all cold little bites and it was delicious.
We talked and laughed and I mostly drank all the wine since Chris was driving us back.

We made sure everything was clean again took all the flowers and hearts with us back to the house.

We decided since we still had food left from lunch we eat that as dinner if we got hungry but both of us where really tired so we decided to watch a movie in bed so we could relax.

I started up Dirty Dancing since I could pick the movie and luckily Chris was alright with that.
Chris made sure we had snacks and drinks and when he sits down next to me he gives me a box.
I have a big smile opening it and I like what I see.
"You didn't had to get me anything you know that right."
He smiles. "I know but I saw this while buying the roses and I just had to."
I take the little Hoya Heart out of the box and put it on the nightstand it looks so cute the little heart shape plant.
"It's so cute thank you so much babe." I say and give him a sweet loving kiss.
We totally forgot about the movie when I hear the tv 'I carried a watermelon' and I laugh.
"Let's watch the movie." He says as he pulls me in next to him he makes sure I'm very close and I lay my head on his chest so happy my bedroom is set up so that we can still watch the movie like this.

I never finished watching the movie I fell asleep very quickly last thing I remember thinking 'Damn he made me like valentine's day'
