giving up

(late sias/am)alex is having troubles with his new hair do

-snap out of it - arctic monkeys-

the monkeys were on stage in about five minutes and alex was yet to be seen. we all assumed he was still in his dressing room. i quickly dashed down the corridor, making my way to his room.

i knocked on his door multiple times. "al!" i called from outside the dressing room, no response. i opened his door slowly and walked into the bathroom to see him fiddling with his hair. a grumpy look on his face.

"cmon handsome, you're on stage now." i said, sighing.

alex's new hairstyle suits him so much but it really took a lot of effort and too much time, way too much time.

"sorry love i just can't get it right. i fucking give up." he rambled, his comb falling out of his hands multiple times, adding more and more gel.

"al your gonna make your hair fall out if you put anymore gel in there. plus it's expensive don't use so much." i smiled whilst putting my hand out for him to give me the comb.

"it's everytime i bloody comb one side of it back the other poofs up." he explained with crossed arms and a pout.

"al i love this little greaser look you've got going but it takes too long." i said, slicking his hair back and and pulling down a few strands in the front. i placed my hands on his shoulders and turned him back round to his mirror and showed him his hair.

"thank you love." he said with a smile on his face.

"you're welcome al." i replied resting my hands on his shoulders looking in the mirror.

alex grabbed his guitar and we made our way from the dressing rooms to the stage.

he kissed my lips before walking on the stage where the rest of the band already were. i watched him from the wings with katie, kelly and breana. 

as soon as he got on stage he put on his bad boy façade. the crowd cheered as alex walked on. he walked up to the microphone and the drums to "do i wanna know?" started. before alex started playing the well-known guitar riff, he spoke into the microphone, "me hair. it takes too long alright?"

i giggled to myself and enjoyed the whole show from the wings, singing every song and dancing with katie, kelly and breana.
