I awoke quickly, examining where I was. I looked to my left, Alex lay asleep but with a look of worry on his face. I moved closely and cuddled him, he jumped and quickly held me tight. "I was so worried about you. I promised I wouldn't leave your side." He whispered. I felt steamy tears roll down my face "I love you-" I choked on my own voice. My arms were weak and my legs ached for relief "I-was afraid...I was going to lose you." Alex said I felt what seemed like a raindrop hit my head..he was crying too. My muscles screamed out for relief "What...happened?" I asked quietly. More "raindrops" fell from above me, I heard him sniff and stay silent for awhile. "I can't tell you." He said softly. I felt light headed again and slowly let my eyes drift into darkness.
