Chaos in Star Labs is never a new occurrence.

The loud beeping of the alarms alert you that maybe something is wrong. Despite the warnings Barry had given you many times to be careful in the face of danger, you were never that great at following orders. So when you raced into the lab, the male standing there decked in his yellow suit was not who you expected.

"You're..."

You felt a bit paralyzed, and even though you were a speedster as well, the stories you'd heard about the male brought dread.

A smirk worked its way on his face.

"What do we have here?"

Your first instinct was to run, but you only managed a breath before he had you forced against a wall. You grunted, staring in fear.

"Can't say I expected to see another speedster. " His eyes narrowed, it was like he was studying you.

"I don't recall meeting you." You swallowed.

This was him, the monster you'd only truly heard Cisco tell tales about. The name always brought a tightness to Barry's features. He's wearing Harry's face, and somehow it makes you feel that much more frightened.

"It's you.."

He sounds wistful, and something changes. His grip loosens just a fraction, and your fear mixes with confusion. Why wasn't he trying to gut you right now. Maybe it's a game. A ploy to test you.

"(Y/N)!!"

Barry's yell seemed to knock you back to your senses. You pushed forward, and your shout that followed sent a shot of electricity out of your body. Eobard's body went hurtling into the wall on the other side of the room. He groaned, and Barry zipped forward, cuffing him before he could make another move. In a matter of seconds he was pulling Eobard off the floor. You were breathing heavy, both from the release of energy, and the realization of who you just encountered.

Iris wasn't far behind, and your body relaxed when she was followed by Frost and Cisco. Harry stormed in as well, gun on his shoulder. Eobard looked way too casual.

"Thawne."

Iris's voice held nothing but contempt. You pressed your back to the wall, sliding down. Cisco raced to your side.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

"No he..he didn't."

"Nice little move you learned, I've never seen that one before. You have potential." You didn't like the way his blue eyes marked you. Cisco helped you to your feet, and you found yourself moving behind him.

"Why are you here?"

Barry was doing his best to deviate Thawne's attention from you. They all had their shared encounters, but you hadn't. You weren't much older than Cisco, and training wise, you were at the beginning. The last thing he wanted was for you to become Thawne's target.

"We have a lot to talk about Barry."

His taunting voice didn't help, and Barry just frowned. Today was going to be a bad day. He could feel it.
