A NEW FEELING
}No one's POV{
It's a quiet morning, the sun slowly rising, giving off a gorgeous orange hue as (Y/n) snores in her bed, hugging her pillow close as she sleeps peacefully dreaming about riding a scooter in a mall to get away from her grades running full speed at her even though they are paper
"Wake up sunshine! The sun is shining!" Is the first thing (Y/n) hears before screaming at the top of her lungs and then falling right out of her bed. Still half asleep, she stands to greet whoever just called for her to wake up
"Oh holy fuck! I'm sorry I got an F okay?! My scooter wasn't fast enough in the mall!" (Y/n) explains, still sorting out her surroundings, then tripping over a blanket and falling face first into the floor, before reaching it though, she's caught in the strong arms of none other than the Princess of Power herself.
"You alright there, (Y/n)? And what's a mall? And why is an F so bad?" Adora asks, lifting (Y/n) so she's up right. (Y/n) looks at the blondie with tired eyes
"You don't wanna know..." (Y/n) mutters before plonking back onto her bed, not bothering to grab the covers, Adora chuckles at this and sits down beside the night owl.
"So you don't wanna get up and walk with me at sunrise?" Adora asks, gently brushing the hair out of (Y/n)'s face so they could make eye contact, the (h/c) groans and turns her head the other way
"Look, I didn't have much sleep last night, either Morpheuse is being a total ass right now, or- well- oh, I don't know." (Y/n) sighs and turns over, staring at the high ceiling.
"Well you know what fixes stress?" Adorable asks with a smile, causing (Y/n) to sigh once more
"What?" (Y/n) asks, watching Adora stand up from the bed, then the girl is pulled up onto her feet, Adora places her hands on her Hips.
"A good wor-" before Adora can finish the sentence, the bedroom door is already slammed in her face. "You don't like working out? we could do something else! maybe just a calm slow walk! Hello..? (Y/n)? Oh come on! Just this once? I'll get you something on the way~" the door swings open with a suspicious look on (Y/n)'s face
"Why do you want me to join you so bad?" (Y/n) asks, leaning against the door frame with a raised eyebrow, Adora starts to stammer
"Oh, uh w-well I just- y'know? Thought that as friends, that uh, we uh, we could..." Adora trails off as (Y/n) leans closer with a smug grin
"You what? Hm~?" (Y/n) grins, leaning slightly closer to the blonde girl
When did she get this confident?! The blonde thinks to herself, as her face gets redder and redder.
"A- Actually, I think Light Hope i- is calling, uh, next time. Yeah? yeah next time, bye (Y/n)!" Adora quickly runs off in a flustered state, using Light Hope as an excuse to escape her flirtatious friend
}Adora's POV{
Who am I kidding? (Y/n)'s always been that confident in flirting, I just never experienced it first hand. No wonder girls are all over her when we go to different places with the others.
I continue walking through the castle until I finally get outside and head towards Light Hope, in hopes training will get my mind off my friend.
How is she able to do this to me? All she did was ask me a question and lean forward, she didn't even lay a finger on me and yet it's like I melt when she's around. Snap out of it! You're in the middle of a war, no time for thinking about that kinda stuff...
What kind of stuff am I talking about though? I've never felt this way before. I got to talk to Bow about this, he's good with feelings.
}(Y/n)'s POV{
Fucking idiot!
You're a total fucking idiot!
Did you seriously just try to flirt with Adora?! And terribly at that! At this point, Sea Hawk is better than you! At least he knows- actually never mind he doesn't know that
Ugh! This is like last night at the slumber party! You clearly made her uncomfortable! Pinning her arms above her head and whispering in her ear?! Fucking creep!
}Adora's POV{
Thinking back to last week's slumber party I feel my cheeks burn
She was so close, her breath against my ear felt so relaxing, and yet I was a mess, my face was completely red when I looked into her eyes and I could barely say a word. I could tell she was a little flustered too, it was kinda cute...
Wait, No! No! No, no, no, no. Stop that! You can talk about it when you finally talk with Bow. You're probably being dramatic and this is just a best friend kinda thing, yeah.

"Fucking gay idiots, both of them"
"Indeed, darling. When are you going to talk to (Y/n) again? She's getting stressed because of it."
"She needs to learn some things on her own. Besides, she's got Angela."
"Amor, you know I love you right?"
"Of course?"
"Good, now get you're fine ass down there and help her sleep! For Zeus's sake she hasn't had a good nights rest in a week."
"Alright, alright!"
"Thank you, Amor."
"Wait, you think my ass is fine?"
"Oh, stop with that smirk of yours and go!"
