SVT jeonghan/ the lift

Our group was getting ready for our performance but I was worried about one particular person. Jeonghan. He was having trouble with the lift. You see the lift will shoot you up in the air quite high and he was having trouble landing it. I knew that jeonghan would be hard on himself as he was one of the older members and thought he had to do everything right. So I was keeping a close eye on him.

Jeonghan pov

Why couldn't I land it?. It's not that hard. Those were the questions that were constantly replaying in my head. I have already tried at least ten times and we have to get ready for the performance.

I made my way to the dressing room sitting down and letting the makeup stylist do what she needs to do.

I kept hoping that it would take her a while to finish the makeup so I wouldn't have to go on stage in a few minutes but the more I thought about it the quicker it was getting done.

Eventually it was time to go on stage, I made my way back stage.

No ones POV

We were all backstage talking about the performance. "Jeonghan careful with the lift okay?" He only gave a small nod back being too nervous to speak.

They all went to the individual lifts waiting for the song to start.
Once the song started they all got shot up into to the air. But when jeonghan landed his ankle snapped... loudly.

Jeonghan pov

My ankle. I had just started the first song and it has started off bad. All I had to do was make it to the break and then I can hopefully do something to help it.

Performing all those songs were absolutely Agony but I done it. I sat down straight away backstage and asked the staff for some ice. By this time the other members were gathering around me. "Jeonghan, what happened?" "When I landed after the lift my ankle snapped".

"Jeonghan this might hurt but I need to take your sock of so I can check your ankle" I nodded back. It hurt a lot. Tears were threatening to fall. Minghao came and sat next to me to comfort me. Eventually all them tears that I was holding back started to fall.

"Jeonghan i think it is best that you go to the hospital, the bone is definitely broke and out of place". The medic explained. "No, no I can wait until the end of the concert. "That will make it much worse and cause a lot of pain". "I know but this is for the fans".

I put my sock back on and put my shoe on as well. It hurt a lot but I just had to perform a few more songs until I can rest and go to the hospital to see what is wrong.

Everyone was keeping an eye on Jeonghan.

It was in the middle of the performed when ever started to notice that Jeonghan was not fully doing the moves but swaying from side to side. DK ran up just in time as he fell. He quickly carried him back stage and the rest followed except hoshi as he was reassuring the audience and telling them they will continue soon.

Jeonghan was placed in the couch in the corner of the room, everyone was around the couch waiting for him to wake up. Eventually a groan echoed through the room.

"Are you okay?" Woozi asked "yes" he replied which everyone knew was a lie " Jeonghan I am going to have to have another look at your ankle".

Everyone gasped. His ankle was purple and blue. "Jeonghan why didn't you tell us?" "Because I didn't want tou to worry" he explained. "I think it's better If someone takes him to the hospital" the manager said. "I will" scoups spoke.

The manager didn't want to go in the hospital with them as he figured if he goes with one of his closest friends he will feel more relaxed. Which is true.

They arrived at the hospital the two boys waited in the car while the manager went to go get a wheelchair. "Be careful you two I will be waiting in the care park" "okay see you later".

Scoups pov

I was sitting next to jeonghan waiting for the doctor. I could sense that he was nervous so I put my hand on his thigh to reassure him that everything was going to be okay. "Jeonghan" the doctor called. I pushed his wheelchair and followed the doctor.

I watched through the glass as he was getting his X-ray, I could tell he was still in pain. Once he was done we all went back to the room to see the results.

"Okay jeonghan so it looks like you have fractured your ankle and will need to be in a cast for 6 to 8 weeks and cannot dance until 2 weeks after you hat the cast off. " okay thank you".

"When do you think they will be back?" Woozi asked "they will be back soon". Just as that was said they heard the dot open and close.

"What did the doctor say?" "I have to wear the cast for 6 to 8 weeks and can't dance until 2 weeks after I get the cast off" "I'm so sorry".

That night was filled with comfort.
