Enhypen niki - making it worse part 1

We were currently rehearsing for our performance for MAMA. We were all pretty stressed out since we had the feeling we needed to prove that we are talented and we deserve to be there.

We were half way through the dance when my shoe got caught on something in the floor, sending me face first towards the ground. Luckily though I put my arms out to protect my face. However, the way I landed put my wrist in an awkward position which sent agonising pain through it.

Everyone stopped after hearing the fall. They all turned to look at what had happened, being met with niki lying in pain.

"Oh my god, niki are you okay?" I recognised the voice, it was jay hyung. "-ung" was all I maxed to get out so far.

"Hey it's okay Riki , can you take deep breathes for hyung baby"
" that's it your doing so well Riki, almost there".

"Hey riki it's heeseung, can you tell Hyungs what hurts ?" They were all speaking in a soft and calm tone so they didn't scare or preside Riki.

"W-wrist" Jake gently took Riki's sleeve and gently pulled it up, showing the aftermath of the fall.

His wrist was blue and purple and the bone was sticking out in an unusual angle. The members gasped at the sight. "I-is it bad" "n-no not at all Riki we are just upset that your in pain" Sunoo tried to reassure Riki.

Riki let out a sob, sunghoon gently pulled him to his chest while the others rubbed his back and patted his head.

"Riki baby can you look at me" " we need to go to hospital to get this checked out okay ?" . The members did not want to take Riki to hospital because he has always hated them but this time they really didn't have a choice.

Niki have a slight nod to show he understood.
"Hey jungwon can you get niki's stuff please" "of course". Jungwon went off to get niki's stuff while sunghoon and jay helped niki to the van.

"I-it hurts p-please stop" "I'm so sorry baby but we have to get you to the hospital so it doesn't get worse okay" Jake explained in a calm voice.

Once they made it to the van heeseung and jungwon sat at the back, sunoo and sunghoon in the middle and Jake niki and jay sat at the front with niki in the middle.

The ride to the hospital was quite uncomfortable for Riki as the road was bumpy and every bump they went over would cause riki's wrist to move causing pain to flood through his wrist and arm.

"Hyung" Riki whimpered " Ik honey we are almost there okay" "o-okay".

Ten minutes later they arrived at the hospital. Jay and Jake helped Riki out the car, the others soon got out too. " should we all go in? I mean it could be a little overwhelming if we are all there"Jungwon pointed out "he's right, i think only two of us should go with riki" heeseung agreed.

"How about jay and sunghoon go with riki and the rest of us go back to the dorm and clean up and make him some soup" sunoo suggested "that great and the manager will stay here to take you guys home after".

After they had the plan sorted out they all set off to their destination, jay, Riki and sunghoon went in the hospital while the others went back to the dorm.

Once they got signed in the hospital they took a seat in the waiting room and waited for their turn. Riki kept his writ lifted up against his chest, still unable to move it without agonising pain. " how are you feeling baby?" Jay asked after noticing Riki hasn't really spoken. "Cold, tired and it hurts" "I'm so sorry honey, but after this we are gonna go back to the dorm and you can have as much tv and cuddles as you want, how does that sound?".

"It sounds good". Jay and sunghoon let out a little smile after hearing riki's response. " nishimura Riki" sunghoon gently bugged Riki to wake him up as he had started to fall asleep " baby it's our turn now".

They walked into the room and took their seats. "So what brings you here today?" The doctor asked. Riki still couldn't really speak so the others did it for him. " my friend here had a fall during rehearsal and has injured his wrist" the doctor nodded, gently taking riki's hand in hers, inspecting it. "I see, and how painful is it from a scale from one to ten". This time Riki knew that he had to answer for himself. "T-ten". 

"Okay riki so I'm gonna have a feel around okay, this might hurt a little" all he could do was nod, the pain not even slightly disappearing. Niki hissed, resting his head on jay's shoulder.

"I know, I'm so sorry about this I'm almost done". Jay started running his hand through his hair, trying to calm him a little.

"Okay so when I was checking your wrist it's become very clear that the bone is not where it's supposed to be, because of this you will need a cast on for about six to eight weeks and try to keep the pressure of that hand for ten weeks as an injury like this the bone will be weakened and can be easily injured again".

"Okay thank you" sunghoon spoke. " you may sit here while i get the supplies for the cast". After the doctor left niki couldn't help but worry. "Hyung, how am I gonna dance ? I have my solo, I can't just leave it" this was not unlike niki to worry about dances, especially since many thought that it was all he was good at so he felt like without dance there was no way he could prove himself so he would be useless.
"Listen baby, your health is much more important then any dance, okay". Niki nodded but everyone knew he didn't agree with what he said.

The doctor came back shortly after, doing riki's cast. It only took fifteen minutes before they were done and able to go back to the dorm.

They finally reached to dorm, getting out of the car and making their way to the door. They walked in getting hit with the smell of fresh soup.

"RIKI YOUR BACK!!"
Everyone came rushing back hugging niki.
"Guys be careful" "so what happened at the hospital?" Sunoo asked "broken wrist, he has to keep the cat on for six to eight weeks and don't put pressure on it for at least ten weeks".
"Riki honey I'm so sorry" "it's okay hyung, it could be worse". Sunoo nodded at his words.
"Come and have some soup, baby" Riki giggles at his hyung's cuteness "okay okay".
