3:50 P.M
The sun gleamed off the leaves on the tree as the wind breezed off Stephan's Arm as blood soaked His body. James H. On Stephans shoulders. "So what's the plan" Bennett said. "Right now we are gonna find somewhere to hunker down Aidan said hes gonna go get firewood and another means of transportation, Stephan that place is it gone gone" Austin asked. "I mean wall wise yes and well there's only a few houses I'm afraid" Stephan answered. "Okay so we will go raid those houses first thing in the morning to find food" Austin said "sounds good" Zack Answered. They continued to walk down the never ending forest. Austin limping in every step from the burn of the bullet. Austin dropped onto the ground. "AUSTIN" Grayson screamed and ran over to him. White foam from the mouth mixed with blood spewed onto his lips. Blood poured from his nose as his body shook uncontrollably, Austin's mind...blank, Austin now in a pitch of whiteness, Seen Almon In the distance. The footsteps grew closer. Austin walked closer to Almon. "Hey Brother" almon said. "Am I dead" Austin said. "No your having a seizure" Almon said, looking like an illusion. "Seizure?, I was walking in the forest with everyone and, wait how do I get back" Austin nervously said. "Well, you'll get back if you want to but personally I feel like you shouldn't keep fighting you've been through so much already" Almon said. "Am I gonna remember this if I choose to go back" Austin muttered. "No this is all in your head" Almon said. "So wait your not real" Austin replied. "I'm as real as it gets" Almon answered. Almon disappeared into the light and everything in Austins head became nothing.....
May, 28th 2026 4:15 P.M
Everyone looked at Austin. Stephan feeling his pulse. Tears pouring from his face. "He's dead" Stephan said. Austin's eye opened, as he gasped for air and sat up. Everyone jumped in excitement, "I don't know how the hell your so tough" Stephan said. "Honestly I am starting to question it myself" Austin answered. "What I do knowing that one day I won't be able to continue to fight this cancer I have and I know that one day when my body's done fighting....I will be too" Austin said hesitantly. "Hey I do know that back at home was the last place I seen my car, remember the one I bought I'm thinking we go back now and get that we could travel to farther places" Stephan said to Austin. Austin limping and still a little dizzy from his seizure. The blood on his leg dried up all around the hairs that stood up. Stephan continued to walk as he had James on his shoulder. They all began walking back to there old home.
May 28th 6:45 P.M 2026
"It's getting dark are we almost there" Zack said in the background. "Yes" Stephan answered as they got up to a huge place with destroyed walls cracks in the ground and burnt down houses. "This is it" Stephan said as they all began walking into the deserted city. Helicopter sounds flew above head very low and began to land in the far distance. Everyone began to find a hiding spot close by to each other in case of any harm. Austin made Eye contact with Stephan. Austin gave a signal showing him he was gonna move closer to the helicopter to get a hear of what's going on. Austin slowly moved from his spot behind an abandoned car, and slowly moved down the road looking for more things to hide behind so he wasn't seen. As he got closer everyone was dressed in Black Suits wearing a black mask with the marking of a Triangle on there forehead. On the helicopter though, big Bolded letters stated, IZC, under reading what it stood for. Investigators Zombie Corp. "John check over there that guy was alive and hasn't turned yet" One of the guys with the black masks said. "So John noted" Austin spoke to himself then began looking around for the first guy to walk over to a body, so he knew which one is John as they all dressed the same. He seen John walk over to the body and bend down, John pulled out a test kit and began testing on the guy. "I wonder what those could be used for exactly" Austin said to himself as he got up and began slowly going back to his spot. Austin waved towards Stephan signaling him to come towards him. Stephan began slowly and quietly going across the street. "Yo so One of them told this guy John to do something to a dead walker and he took a testing kit out, I thinking there apart of some sort of Place that tests the walkers to find out how they originated maybe" Austin said, "yeah maybe" Stephan replied. The helicopter propellers began to spin super fast, and the helicopter slowly lifted off the ground.They all looked at the helicopter fly away. "Alright let's go" Stephan rolled his hands and they all began running to Stephan's house. As they got to the house they seen the car sitting there in the driveway. "Yes my beautiful 2022 Honda Civic, they were selling this and another car and I used my currency to Halfy pay off this one guess I don't need to pay it off fully now" Stephan laughed. They all got up to the car and opened the door. Stephan in the front Austin in the passenger seat, Zack Bennet and Jimmy sat in the back, James H Dead in the trunk. Austin holding Grayson. The car began to drive. Loud noises from the trunk banged against the trunk door. Austin turned his head, "did we forget to stick a knife into his head f***" Austin said. The car continued to drive into the distance as they all were in hope of finding somewhere to go maybe somewhere to start building...or even try and find new survivors.
