The door opened, and there he was in all his glory. Virat Kohli. He smiled a full on 100 watt smile and sat infront of me. ''Um hi?'' I asked more than said. ''Hey.'' he said. We sat in awkward silence and just stared at each other. His eyes still had the ability to make me go weak in my knees. Damn it. I cleared my throat and looked away. ''Is there anything that you needed?'' ''I... Uh not really. I just wanted to.. Um.. Do you have time for lunch?'' Shit. What do I say? Do I want to? ''Yes.'' I surprised myself with my answer. Ah stupid Zara. He seemed surprised by my answer too. ''I uh that's great.. I'll wait for you? Or do you want to go now? Or we can just um sit here or if-'' ''I'll go now,'' I broke him off with a grin. His cheeks turned red and this was quite funny for me, seeing him rambling and unsure of himself. He was never like this and it was really funny to watch. We walked out of the room together in absolute silence and down the stairs. He took my hand in his innocently, and we waited for the lights to change, to cross the road. My body still reacted crazily to his touch. It was like electricity every time. ''How've you been?'' he asks breaking my train of thoughts. ''I..I've been better,'' I whispered truthfully. His eyes dropped to my lips and he breathed in. ''So have I..'' I looked away and took my hand from his. He sighed and I crossed my arms infront of my chest. How can he just say these things after he was the one who told me to leave? He told me that he doesn't have feelings for me anymore. We walked over to the restaurant in silence and he pulled out a chair for me to sit on. The waiter came and asked for our order. As expected, Virat ordered salad and I ordered pasta. ''How's work going?'' he asks me, trying to stay on neutral ground. ''Good. I've had more time for work now than ever and it's been pretty good. How're the matches going?'' ''I've played better.'' ''You always say that. I'm in the media Mr. Kohli, I know that you've been playing better than you've ever played. Fastest century in 52 balls?'' He peeked up at me and smiled. ''I was pretty damn good.'' I couldn't help but laugh at that. The food was served and we started. I was going to give some of my pasta for him to try when my fork hit his nose and there was red sauce on his whole nose. I burst into almost non stop laughter. I couldn't help but snort everytime he tried to wipe it off but he'd miss. He shook his head and smiled. ''I miss that laugh,'' he murmured. I stopped laughing and looked directly at him. ''Then why did you tell me to go?'' And there it was. The question that haunts me every single day. He looked like he wanted to tell me something but then looks away. ''Let's go. It's raining and you need to go back to work.'' I sighed. He wasn't going to tell me anything. ''I don't have to go back to work. I have the rest of the day off..so I'll just go home.'' ''I'll drop you then. My car is just opposite this street.'' ''No it's okay Virat. I can go by myself.'' ''You can but you don't have to. It's raining heavily Zara, I'll drop you.'' I looked at him and gave in. ''Fine..Chalo then.'' We ran through the rain, into his car and it brought back memories. That time when we sat holding hands just watching the rain. The time when we went for a drive in the middle of the night and got lost. So many memories it hurt..
