After waking up the four wolves set out to find Hitch and Annie. They walked for an hour before they stopped to rest a bit. They had set up a fire and were resting when they heard someone "Whos there?" A voice barked and everyone looked over to see Annie with Hitch not far behind "Hitch, Annie, good to see you, two more wolves came, this is Kagami and Marinette" Sonia said "So that book brought more wolves" Hitch said "It seems there are now six of us" Annie said. "Maybe we should hunt or explore together, get to know each other" Marinette said "I love that idea!" Sonia said "I guess we can hunt together" Annie said and they went off to hunt. Annie was stalking something then she froze "What is that?!" She yelped and everyone looked to see a tall, shadowy wolf like figure with glowing white eyes. "Stand back!" Someone yelled and brown wolf with a short tail and a black wolf with a flower crown ran out from behind the creature and stood in between it and Annie "Be careful you don't know what this thing can do" The brown wolf said "Are you okay?" The black wolf asked Annie "What is that thing?!" Annie asked "We call them shadow wolves, this is the second one we've seen, we don't know what they can do so we stay away from them" The brown wolf said "Who are you?" Kagami asked "I'm Sabito, this is Makomo" The brown wolf said "How long have you been here?" Chiaki asked "We've been here longer than Hitch and Annie" Sabito said "How do you know our names?" Hitch asked "We've always been silently watching you, we know all of your names, Sonia, Chiaki, Kagami, Marinette" Makomo said "Why did you never say anything?" Kagami asked "We prefer to observe" Sabito said "Can we get away from this thing? It's very creepy" Marinette said "Yes, we should leave, we have no idea what it can do" Sabito said and the wolves moved away from the shadow wolf. Once they were away Annie spoke up "Why is that thing here? Me and Hitch have never seen anything like that and we've been here for weeks" She said "We don't know why they appear" Makomo said "How do we know  that you aren't the ones that brought is, me and Annie have been here for ages and we've never seen you two before" Hitch said "Or how do we know that you two didn't bring it?" Annie said looking at Kagami and Marinette "Why would we bring something like that?!" Kagami asked "We shouldn't fight, we should focus on Makomo and Sabito" Chiaki said "Yeah we should focus on them, notice how we only noticed them when that thing appeared? How do we know that they didn't bring it?" Hitch growled "Maybe they're actually working for it" Annie said "We do not work for that thing, we barely even approach them!" Sabito said "Everyone stop fighting! We should focus on working together!" Chiaki said "How do we work together when we can't even trust each other?" Kagami growled "Come on Hitch, we're leaving" Annie said and the two left. "We should leave as well" Sabito said "Wait! I would be interested in learning more about you" Chiaki said "I agree, we're here together we might as well get to know each other" Marinette said "That is wise, we should work together, if those shadow wolves are dangerous we should work together to protect ourselves" Kagami said "She's right" Sabito said "Where should we go now?" Makomo asked "Let's go to our den" Sabito said "You're taking us straight to your den?" Chiaki asked "Yes, we need to trust each other and that includes letting others know where we live, it could also be good to find us if we're needed" Sabito said and they walked to Makomo and Sabito's den. It was a cave behind a waterfall and was lit up by glowing gems "Wow this place is beautiful! How'd you find this?" Sonia asked "Well it was an accident, Makomo was getting a drink but got caught in the river she was drinking from and ended up falling off the waterfall but while falling she saw the glowing gems so after she got back to me and informed me we searched for it and here we are" Sabito said. "Falling off a waterfall? That seems terrible" Kagami said "It was pretty terrifying" Makomo replied "Can we talk about the shadow wolves? What do you know about them?" Sonia asked "We know that they randomly appear, we kinda believe they mean something will happen" Sabito said "Like a banshee?" Sonia asked "Well we don't know if they mean the same thing as banshees" Sabito replied. "Would you like to stay here for now? We have a spare room" Makomo said "No we have our own home, thanks for the offer though" Chiaki said "We should go by the way, before it gets too dark to see where were going" Kagami said "Goodbye for now" Sonia said and they left the cave and headed home
