Rin was searching in a forest for any wolf pups that we're around. She was with Futaba and Annie. She ended up finding a cliff and looked down "Wow, it's a long way down" She said "What's that up there?" Futaba asked and Rin looked up the mountain to the side to see a tall shadowy wolf like figure that stood up straight on its hind legs "That's a shadow wolf!" Annie said. Suddenly the ground beneath Rin collapsed

"Rin!" Futaba yelled as the ground collapsed beneath the wolf. "Stand back!" Annie said pulling Futaba away from them cliff by the scruff. Soon the others came running by "What happened?" Sabito asked "The cliff collapsed! Rin was standing on it to and she fell with it" Futaba said "She should be fine right? Death isn't permanent for us" Sonia said "Let's check the den to see if she's okay" Makomo said and they headed back to the den "Rin? Are you here?" Futaba called out. After no response Chiaki spoke up "Maybe she went back to where we were searching?" She said "But wouldn't we have seen her?" Hitch said "Futaba how many times has she died? The book did say it would eventually stop bringing us back when we died" Sabito said "I can't even count how many times she died..." Futaba replied "There was a shadow wolf when she died" Annie said "I guess your theory of shadow wolves bringing bad things were right" Hitch said "I can't believe she's gone" Futaba said "Maybe she's just reappeared somewhere else when she died" Makomo said "Like where?" Annie asked "Well I remember that when me and Sabito entered this realm we were near this center thing" Makomo said "Maybe that's where everyone spawned, maybe she could be there!" Sabito said "But how will we find this place?" Sonia asked "One of us will have to die and see if they appear there" Sabito said "What will they do after spawning there?" Futaba asked "They can try and look for Rin, if they don't find her they can return to their den, while they're searching near the center the rest of us can search for Rin here" Sabito said "I volunteer to let myself be killed" Futaba said "Here, let me have your stuff before you die" Chiaki said and Futaba handed her her stuff "I guess I'll just drown myself and hope I respawn at center" Futaba said before she jumped off the ledge leading to the cave and into the water. "Now let's go search more" Sabito said and they headed out to search again

Futaba woke up in a circular building that didn't have walls(I don't know how to describe them sorry ;-;) she remembered she was here to look for Rin and called out her name "Rin? Are you here?" She called out as she walked around. She called out and walked around for a few minutes before giving up "I can't believe it... She's actually gone..." Futaba said and then started crying. She cried for a bit before she managed to compose herself and she decided to head back to the den. She then layed down and fell asleep. A while later she was awoken by Makomo and Sabito coming into the den. "Did you find her?" She asked "Sadly no" Sabito replied "We should get some rest, it's been a long day" Makomo said and the three of them went to sleep. It didn't last long though as someone came running into the cave "There's another shadow wolf!" They cried and they all woke up to see Marinette "What's a shadow wolf? I've heard your guys talk about them" Futaba asked "They're these tall shadowy wolf like creatures that stand on two legs" Sabito said "There was also a shadow wolf when Rin died, if our theory of shadow wolves being signs of bad things we should go investigate it, Makomo you go get Hitch and Annie, I'll go with Marinette and Futaba to check out the shadow wolf" Sabito said and the black she wolf nodded. They left the den and Makomo split off from the group to get Hitch and Annie. It took a while but eventually they arrived at the building. "I'm surprised it's still here, most of the time they don't stay around very long" Sabito said. Futaba squinted her eyes and eventually she saw it. She gasped and backed away a bit "Scary isn't it?" Sabito asked and Futaba nodded in response "Why is it here though? Is something bad about to happen?" Futaba asked "I sure hope it's not about Suki" Marinette said "Who's Suki?" Sabito asked "The pup me and Kagami found, we named her that" Marinette replied "That's a nice name" Sabito said "You should say that to Sonia, she's the one who came up with the name" Marinette replied "We're here, what happened?" Makomo said coming over with Hitch and Annie "Nothing so far" Chiaki said coming out of the building "Where are Sonia and Kagami?" Makomo asked "Kagami is staying with Maggie and Sonia is observing the shadow wolf" Chiaki replied "Maggie's the pup we found by the way" Marinette added "Well let's all stay here for now and see what happens" Sabito said and everyone agreed. They watched the shadow wolf before some of them got tired and went inside the building to sleep. All that was left was Futaba, Annie and Sonia, though she has fallen asleep in the snow. "Hey, can I talk to you?" Annie asked "Yeah, what is it?" Futaba replied "There was a shadow wolf when Rin died, and I know we both want her back so why don't we get revenge on these creatures?" Annie asked "Revenge? How?" Futaba asked "We kill the shadow wolf here" Annie replied "We can go get supplies from my den and then we can kill that thing" Annie continued. Futaba hesitated for a bit before she nodded her head "Okay, let's do it" She said
