"I'm dying of boredom!" Mason cried, throwing his head back and he flopped on the floor rolling around until he hit the wall before rolling back. "Is Ajax back yet? It's been forever," Mason asked with a pout and looked up at the chest where his phone sat.

"Mason, it's only been ten minutes since the last time you asked. Ajax said Larry is about an hour away visiting his sister at the midway point between their packs and would be back soon so we all just have to be patient," Henry said with a chuckle, Hunter sulking grumbling Henry was paying attention to another man. "You are aware that we both have now found our mates? He's taken now and I'm already yours so quit your whining," Henry said with an exasperated huff though Mason could tell he was smiling even through the phone. The blonde was loving this and everyone knew it.

"No Nick sightings?" Mason asked, rolling around until he hit the side of the chest. He let out a yelp a moment later when his phone slipped off the trunk lid and fell onto his stomach where he could hear Hunter whining on the other end.

"Nope. They say after he visited Roxanne last night, he masked his scent and slipped past border patrol so he could be anywhere. Rory stopped by when he heard you'd gone missing and he thinks Nick might have gone on another trip around the world or something. Milly thinks he might have just needed to go cool his head and let everything sink in," Henry said with a sigh, Hunter agreeing with Milly.

"Nicholas is a romantic but he doesn't do well with sudden change. When he first started to travel to look for his mate, he spent his whole first month at my pack and even traveled with me for a long while until he felt more courageous to go out on his own," Hunter admitted, Mason perking up in interest until he heard purring.

"Where are you putting your hands!?" Henry freaked with a smacking noise following after.

"It's not my fault they're so soft," Hunter whined, Mason eyeing the phone wondering what could be going on but he thought it'd be wise not to pry.

"I wish Nick would just come back so we could talk. I'm not expecting anything! I doubt he's gonna be all over me like they are, ever, but we could at least talk about this and figure things out," Mason thought with a sigh, rolling onto his belly holding his phone out in front of his hearing his friends bickering on the other end. "At least let me out of your room!"

--------------------

Mason started snooping around the room, poking around since there was nothing else to do, but there wasn't anything interesting in the room. Nicholas's dresser was full of his clothes, his chest was full of books and some random objects Mason guessed he'd gotten during his travels, and his bathroom just had random bathroom stuff like soaps, towels, and cleaning products. His desk drawers were all locked so Mason couldn't go in there, though his curiosity kept peaking the longer he waited in here, but other than that Mason was left to his boredom. His phone was currently on the charger sitting on Nicholas's nightstand, in which contained some old school notebooks and yearbooks from his school days but they were all wrapped in leather bindings with a lock on it for "some reason" Mason had figured out after ten minutes.

He didn't want anyone to look through them. So what did Mason do? His a razor from Nicholas's bathroom and carefully cut the bindings.

"You were so cute!" Mason squealed, laughing as he looked down at a picture of Nicholas in elementary school clinging onto his mother's leg. There were even a few pictures tucked into the pages of Nicholas as a little pup, an Ajax with shorter hair laughing at Nicholas who was charging into his back who was as big as a baby golden retriever. "He was so small... and yet not small at the same time. Is he really only six in this photo?" Mason said as he looked down at one photo that showed Nicholas standing on his hind legs in the kitchen trying to see the food on the counter but was just short to only get his nose over the edge. Milly was standing behind him and was in mid yell when they phot was taken, her belly flat which was a little strange for Mason to see but he thought she was beautiful either way. "How did he grow so big...?"
