"Cannot believe you three were going to go after them. One of you, for the second time!" Milly snapped as she forced Ajax, Nicholas, and Hunter to kneel in front of the couch to think about what they had done, Mason and Henry sitting on the bar stools at the kitchen counter trying not to laugh. "Try that again and I'm tying all three of you to the tree out back," Milly threatened, glaring down at the three alpha's before heading back into the kitchen where she was making cookies. According to her, it was a part of the torture letting them smell the delicious treats they could not have since they were for the pack orphans.

"How'd you get Hunter to come back with you?" Mason asked quietly looking over at Henry as they glanced back together to the three men before focusing on the cookie making.

"A man does not kiss and tell," Henry said mysteriously, Mason arching a brow at him with a knowing look on his face that made Henry blush a little. "Not to change the subject but I got myself a job at the library just like you. That other guy that was working with you suddenly quit because his family had to move to Maine, something about his uncle getting hurt and needing help getting around, so I swooped in and got the job myself," Henry said with a smile, Mason beaming at him looking excited making Henry laugh.

"Congrats Henry. Though you two better not slack off on the job talking to one another the whole time," Milly said, waggling a finger at them that was covered in flour making the boys giggle.

"We promise not to disturb the books with our conversations and the very rare amount of people who come in," Mason teased when the front door opened revealing Dr. Bee with something in his hand that made Mason growl. "Evil!" Mason barked as his eyes began glowing for a moment and he ducked his head down onto the counter, Henry petting his hair with a chuckle as he spied the bright red collar with the bow Mason despised.

"Barnel! What brings you here other than to laugh at my mate over there?" Milly asked, glaring at Ajax's head who flinched before turning to look at her over his shoulder and attempted something like puppy dog eyes. That had Milly, Mason, Henry, and Dr. Bee bursting into hysterical laughter. Even Nicholas and Hunter started to laugh, both boys avoiding all eye contact with the alpha who glared at them before he stood up making his way over to Dr. Bee. "Who said you could get up!" Milly snapped, threatening to throw a ladle at him but Dr. Bee stepped into his defense to her surprise.

"I actually need to talk to Ajax about this so please pardon him Luna," Dr. Bee said seriously and bowed his head to her, Milly glaring at Ajax for a moment who smiled sweetly at her until she let out a sigh and waved them off. "Thank you and I can expect one of those cookies to make it's way into my mouth later?" Dr. Bee asked with his own sweet smile as he followed Ajax toward his study when the ladle flew through the air and nearly hit but Ajax caught it with one hand and tossed it over to Henry who let out a yelp as he tried to catch it and fell off the stool instead with a cry. That had Hunter leaping over the couch to check on him, growling when Mason tried to kneel down to help the blonde up.

"Get back to your timeout!" Milly snapped, waving around a wooden spoon but she gave up as Nicholas rose up and protectively gathered Mason into his arms pulling him away from Hunter who was hugging Henry to his chest as they sat on the ground. "You're all lucky your too cute," Milly muttered and let them help her make the cookies.

Mason let out a yawn, sitting sideways on one of the lounge chairs with his legs dangling over the right arm while Henry was sitting next to him with his legs dangling over the left. Both boys were bored out of their minds because, as they had predicted, there was no one at the library on a Wednesday afternoon and they had already done everything there was to do. Put the books away, make sure no books were overdo, and... that was really it. Now they were lounging on the second floor staring at the door waiting for someone to come in just for a bit of excitement.
