"I'm so proud of you, standing up for yourself. Look at you growing up so fast," Henry said as he squished Mason's cheeks together reminding Mason of the old ladies fawning over him, pinching his cheeks or offering him lemon sweets.

"What am I, five?" Mason teased, whining as Henry practically massaged his cheeks making it hard to talk which was making Milly giggle.

Milly was sitting on the couch with them on the other side of Mason from Henry after Ajax had dropped them off at home. Something about talking to Dr. Bee again though so far he wasn't telling any of them why but Mason had an inkling it had to do with the hunter's in the area. Speaking of Hunter, he was currently sitting in one of the love seats watching Henry like a hawk trying not to be as clingy so Henry can enjoy his friend time with Mason who was still a little jittery about what he'd done to Nicholas earlier. Henry and Milly were attempting to calm down him down and it was working for the most part, Henry acting like a proud parent and Milly telling him he was right to push Nicholas and Alroy away before they went too far, but Mason kept glancing at the front door half expecting Nicholas to burst in and turn into the Incredible Hulk to crush him flat so Hunter was being a "good boy" according to Henry which was making him happy so he sat there satisfied watching Henry being adorable in his eyes.

"I swear, the dude had crazy eyes when I saw him creeping up behind Mason and that wasn't just because his eyes were glowing red," Henry said with a shudder just thinking about it, Hunter letting out a protective growl as he gripped the chair arms until Henry reached over to caress his hand.

"Did Mason's wolf really take control for that long? Usually he takes most of the control when Mason is his adorable, itty bitty, little wolf," Milly said, starting to talk in a baby voice while getting emotional until she noticed all three boys staring at her. "He's only taken the reigns in certain situations like whenever Dr. Bee is around because of the B-A-T-H," Milly said, whispering that pronunciation at the end while staring at Mason for a reaction but the boy only had a look of understanding on his face with a nod of his head.

"He mostly just sleeps or is running around in the back of my head," Mason said with a shrug, looking inward at his wolf who was currently sprawled out on the ground in his mind fast asleep. His tail would flick from one side of his body to the other, hitting against his hind legs, and his ears would twitch as the little wolf dreamed.

"Hey, does he have a name?" Henry asked suddenly, looking at Mason quizzically who looked back at him just as confused. "I know Ajax's wolf is Amarok and Milly's wolf is Accalia," Henry said, listing the wolf names on his finger.

"How'd you know that?" Milly asked as she rubbed her belly, impressed.

"I have my sources," Henry said with a mischievous grin on his face that Mason trampled over with a smirk.

"So, Rory?" Mason asked and smiled back at Henry's annoyed glare.

"I know Hunter's wolf is Drake," Henry said, changing the subject, and smiled over at his mate who beamed back in pride. His eyes flashed red for a moment and he looked over Henry's body in clear appreciation for the view causing Henry to blush but he quickly faced the other two on the couch with him who were kindly pretending not to notice with small smiles on their faces. "But I don't think you've ever mentioned your wolf's name, if he even has one. We've just been calling him 'Mason's wolf' or you'll say 'My wolf' but I think it'd be easier if he had a name," Henry said, Mason staring at his wolf again as it kicked it's legs around a little tossing its head to the side.

"It hasn't told me it's name. It's just... there," Mason said aloud while trying to think if he wolf ever mentioned it's own name.

The wolf half of a werewolf isn't just the other half of a human but it's own entity with it's own personality and being. Werewolves can live a long time but when the human finally dies, the wolf spirit moves onto another human being for the rest of their lives with it's previous human's memories locked away so it doesn't overwhelm it's new human. Though some wolves can be silly and playful sometimes, they were ancient beings who have seen it all and there are rarely any new wolf spirits born into the world because there are so many out there already just waiting for another werewolf to be born or a human to be turned so, for a long time now, there hasn't been a need for any new wolf spirts.
