Marla will played Rick Danko's mom Leola in the Band bio movie called "I Shall Be Released: The Band Story." Christian Prchal played Rick himself. Jacob Cole played Richard Manuel, Ben Gray played Levon Helm, Kyle Walton played Robbie Robertson and Brian Scott May played Garth Hudson.
From the Ronnie Hawkins days to Americana, the Band played so hard until the Last Waltz. After 1983, Robbie is no longer with them, and the movie will end with Richard's death in 1986. The movie decided to be released in 2023.
