"On this letter I want to write down our story, every little thing about you and me."

Empty streets, cold air, gloomy skies, and a heavy atmosphere. Silent cries and muffled sniffles were coming from a small flower shop. The flower shop only contained of two things, a girl and the flowers placed in vases around the shop. Despite the flowers being brightly colored, the place looked gray.

On the counter, a piece of paper lay, crumpled and stained with tears. Without any customers coming in, Chaerin sat in the corner, alone. Hopelessness was all that she felt at the moment. Losing all interest in her job, the flowers, and things that made her happy, she felt miserable. She just wanted him to come back home.

She promised to wait but it felt like forever. Time was going too slow. Her youthful spirit was dimmed, she believed that the only way for it to be reignited was for him to be there by her side again.

It started pouring outside. The tapping of rain on the roof filled the small shop. The gray skies outside matched the ambience.

Despite the rain, the store bell rang as the front door opened. Chaerin straightened herself and and dried her face. "A bouquet or a single flower?" She asked the newcomer as she started to examine the flowers.

"I'd like to have a hug." The newcomer's voice said, making Chaerin's head snap toward the owner swiftly. She recognized that voice anywhere.

Jake gave a small smile toward Chaerin. "Hi."

She reciprocated the action. "Hi."

It was like the first time they met, the same rainy day, the same time, the same feel in the air. Jake and Chaerin stood there for a while, staring at each other.

"You finally thought of coming back." Chaerin said. "I've always been thinking of it." Jake replied as he waddled toward her, wrapping his arms around her frame. That hug. She missed that hug.

The rain outside had no plans in stopping. But despite that, Jake suggested something really dumb to do. Something a small child would suggest. "Wanna dance with me?" He asked, gesturing outside. "I'd love to."

Pulling her outside the shop and onto the empty street, the pair danced in the rain. "Let go of any worries now, love. I'm here." Jake whispered. Chaerin smiled. "Will do, love."

The two, though drenched, waltzed under the rain, letting each other's spirits reignite together. They felt free. They felt as if all problems were cast away now. The rain didn't seem so cold with each other. The skies didn't look so dark with their hands intertwined. The atmosphere was lighter and it felt as if a heavy weight had been lifted.

That moment, they felt young. Nothing was bothering them. Dancing in the rain was something really childish to do, but they couldn't care less. What mattered is they had each other to complete their puzzles.

Without any further speaking, Jake pulled her in for a kiss. "I love you Seo Chaerin."

End.
