An Ally or an Annoyance?

"Aww, look at you. The big tough Iron Wall Caption being all soft for his boyfie~" Luciel ducked to avoid the ball Futa had thrown at him. It's only been a day since the incident, but Luc has been teasing him about it.

"Oh shut up!" Luciel just laughed. Futakuchi should've expected it. Luc was known for this kind of behavior. He was a little shit who liked teasing his friends "How long are you gonna do this?!"

"Until I feel like it." Futa just glared at him, but Luc just smirked.

"I'm gonna head to the bathroom, I'll be back." the former libero said, walking outside the gym. As soon as he left, Futa huffed.

"How the hell do you guys deal with him, I will never understand."

"What do you mean?" Moniwa questioned.

"Oh please, he's so annoying. He never takes anything seriously and does crap like this all the time."

"Yeah, but it's who he is. He's always been like this."

"Well who he is annoying. Come on Moniwa-san, you can't deny he's a pain sometimes."

"Well but-"

"Kaname I know he's your cousin, but he is annoying. How many times have you had to stop him from doing stupid shit?" Kamasaki said. Moniwa looked down, a slightly guilty expression on his face.

"....Well, sometimes he's can be annoying..."

"Sometimes? Most of the crap he does is stupid shit." Kamasaki groaned. He's been the butt of many of Luc's jokes.

"Yeah, but, he means well" Moni said and Aone nodded.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean it's annoying." Obara said, passing the ball back to Fukiage.

"I mean...usually it's fun, but it can be annoying sometimes." Pantalons added.

"Isn't he a third year? He never acts like it." Fukiage grumbled "Seriously, he really needs to be less chaotic"

"I think he's nice!" Kogane said, trying to turn the conversation positive.

"Yeah, because you've never dealt with him" Mai said "Just wait, eventually you'll understand. Like Sakunami. Right Saku?" Kogane looked at the libero with a hopeful expression on his face. Saku just looked away, slightly guilty.

".....He can be hard to deal with it sometimes....."

"See? He's annoying."

"But!-"

"Moni just stop. It's not worth it" Sasaya sighed "Luc can be annoying at times. Yeah, he means well, but it doesn't change it's a bother." Moni just continue to look guilty but didn't say anything.

Practice continued, and Luc didn't return. They didn't notice he hadn't come back.

Just as they didn't notice he was behind the door.

The boy could only wipe his eyes, turn around and walk home.
