More angst? More angst.

"Mmm..." Luc slowly woke up. He didn't even realize he fell asleep. He turned over and sat up. He was still wearing his uniform, his shirt and pants now rumpled from sleeping in them. His hair, although still in its braid, was also messy and sticking up in places. His glasses had also fallen off during the night. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed, feeling emotionally drained. He just wanted to shower, change into pjs, and go back to sleep.

He was snapped out of his moment by his phone going off. After feeling around until he found his glasses and putting them on, he fished his phone out of his blazer pocket. It was a notification from the group chat. He opened it up, seeing what was going on

Worship Me Fools: We got a game today, so get your shit together

Best Mom: Oh yeah! Against Shiratorzawa right?

Big Baby: Yeah! I can't wait to see Goshiki again

Smug Bastard: Ooo, who is he~ Is he your boyfriend~

Big Baby: No! 😳😳😳

Quiet Giant: Quit teasing him

Smug Bastard: Fine

Smug Bastard: But only because you said so.

Disco Bitch: gay

Local Monk: I am literally dating you

Disco Bitch: Okay and

Save Him: bruh

Creepy Uncle: Hey Luc, I see you're online.

Creepy Uncle: You coming?

Vodka Aunt: I...

Luc looked at the exchange. He wanted to go. But...

'Do you really think you deserve to go after what you did?' His mind supplied 'It's all your fault they didn't go to nationals. Do you really deserve to support them after you failed? You'll just make things worse.'

Luc paused, let out a shaky sigh before responding

Vodka Aunt: I think I'll pass

Disco Bitch: Are you sure?

Vodka Aunt: Yeah.

Vodka Aunt: I'm not feeling well.

Best Mom: You alright? I can bring you soup or something.

Vodka Aunt: No, I'm good.

Vodka Aunt: Just feeling sick

Barbeque Dad: You sure?

Vodka Aunt: Yeah. I'll be fine dw

Vodka Aunt: Kick their asses for me though

Vodka Aunt: :)

Best Mom: If you say so

Creepy Uncle: ...

Vodka Aunt: What?

Creepy Uncle: You sure you're okay?

Vodka Aunt: Yeah.

Vodka Aunt: I swear

Luc let out another shaky sigh, putting down his phone.

'You let them down'

'You failed them.'

'I thought supposed to be a childhood prodigy'

'You can you do anything right?'

'You're a failure.'

"I'm so sorry...I ruined everything."

"I don't deserve to be your senpai."

"I don't deserve to be your friend"

A couple tears had ran down his face at this point but he got up and started to head to the bathroom. He stopped in the doorframe. He walkes back around, heading back to his nightstand. There was a few things on it. But the one he was focusing on was a picture frame on it. In it was a picture of a woman with a baby in her arms. She was wearing a volleyball jersey, while the baby was wearing a onesie that looked just like it.

"And I don't deserve to be your successor."

He slammed down the frame, shattering the glass. He didn't care. Just turned back around and head to the shower.

He was to upset to care.

Sorry for the late update! It This week is my spring break and I WAS going to write, but life had other plans. My sister went to the emergency room on Monday and has been there all week. She was doing better, so I don't understand why this happened but it did. So yeah, kinda lost the energy to write. She seems okay at least. At least when I talked to her. Anyways, hopefully, she can leave and I'll write some more.
