Chapter 6

Another day, another slay for Kokomi. I mean, literally. She already had someone as a target.

She found herself in Sangonomiya Shrine, fulfilling her duties as a Divine Priestess like she always did; solving her people's problems, signing papers and such. She had also been recruiting members to join The Resistance lately, and several people had volunteered to join. Checking the applications was a part of today's job as well.

"Ah...", she sighed. "I can't believe that brat pushed Y/N away from me, not only twice but three times? What was he thinking of?", she spoke to herself angrily. "I'll have to think of something when I get back there." She said to herself.

Eventually, as time went by while she worked, she was coming up with a plan to kill Thoma.

«Considering the distance from here to Narukami Island... I'll have to get there at least half an hour before. I'll be leaving at half past five, then.» She was checking the phases of her plan again in her mind.

«And I can't stay there, otherwise I'll be discovered as the culprit or as a witness and I'll have to make up an alibi. So by the time I get to the beach below Tenshukaku and come back, I'll arrive after everyone.»

Great. She had thought of a whole plan. Now she just had to wait until the correct time and execute it.

Eventually time went by, she was bored and tired from doing her job and was only waiting until it was half past five in the afternoon.

She looked up to her clock, and it read "five and twenty-five minutes". Great. It was almost time.

She stood up from her seat and got ready to leave.

"Her Excellency, wait, it's still not time-", one of her guards tried stopping her, but she paid no attention to them. She had no time to argue.

Running, she headed to Narukami Island to quickly execute her plan. A little bit of time had passed, when she had arrived.

She arrived to the Komore Tea House, but she didn't enter by the usual entrance. To catch Thoma off guard, she would need to enter by another place; so she headed towards the rooftop, avoiding any guards noticing her.

She noticed an entrance in the ceiling of where the first room would be located, this one being the kitchen. She supposed Thoma would be there, so she carefully opened the little door.

There he was. Innocent Thoma, distracted while looking through the kitchen's window.

Gathering the might of Hydro, Kokomi plunged towards the ground from mid-air, and fell almost silently to Komore Tea House's ground. She took advantage of her silent arrival, and aggressively slammed Thoma's head against the sink while he was distracted.

"Ow... what...?", he began to feel dizzy due to the strong hit he had received, and kneeled down due to the pain. That's what Kokomi was aiming for.
