Part 14 - Newt Imagine

"I can't believe you tried killing yourself" you wanted to let out all your tears but you kept them inside.
"I hate this place Y/n, and I will always hate it" you reach for his cheek with on hand and touched it, you dragged your hand down his flawless cheek slowly.
"Everyone does, but let me tell you something" he leaned in closer to you.
"Okay" he almost lost his voice.
"It's better and safer here than it is out there"
"How?"
"People are going mad out there"
"It would still be better."
"No...it wouldn't I
We would lose you"
"Y/n your not making sense"
"I'll explain tomorrow now get some sleep, your gonna need it" and without farther a due he laid down and you moved your head on top of him and simply whispered
"Goodnight"
Your vision went blurry and your eyes stung from how tired you were, just before you nodded off to dream land you heard his voice.
"Goodnight Love."

-----Morning-----

It was early in the morning and Newt was still sleeping, you got up and wiped all the dirt off of you. You haven't seen his face for a little while which seemed like months, until now.
"I'm sorry, this wasn't suppose to happen"
"Thomas the reason he attacked you-" he interrupted you in the middle of your sentence.
"Was because he likes you, you can tell" he looked over at Newt sleeping on the cold hard ground.
"No, it's because we're dating" you could tell how much shock Thomas was in.
"Uh" was all that could escape his mouth.
"We have been for awhile, not long"
"Now I'm really sorry." Was his response
"You really want me to accept your apology?"
"Very much"
"Than get me out of here and let me go with you"
"I will let you out but go with me where"
"Magic land filled with unicorns and lots of rainbows" you said sarcastically.
"Ha ha very funny" he smirked a bit.
"I know isn't it a gift" you were being a little bit of a shuckface but you couldn't help it, it's just lot's of fun.
"But seriously where?" He let you out and you stood up straight and he stood back up and look at you in the eyes.
"Into the Maze"
"Good one, very good" he was laughing, he saw that you were serious and stopped
"I'm not joking" you knew you should've said it earlier but you wanted him to figure it out on your own.
"No, that is a terrible idea" is all he said and he started walking to go run the maze.
"Thomas please, I can get us out of here!" You almost yelled the last words, he stopped suddenly.
"First of all keep your voice down there are people trying to sleep and second of all if I let you go with me you have to promise to get us out of this place, okay?"
"Okay, I promise"
When you both reached the doors waiting for it to open and run the maze he said his final sentence before we left.
"Your lucky Minho isn't here, remember your leading...Ready?"
"I was born ready" was your good response.
"Good let's go" after his last word the doors were open enough to fit one person, he went in first and you followed.
"Okay where do we go? And hurry" you gave no respond and started running as fast as you could, it was hard for you to catch your breath especially since the air in the maze was more dusty and wet it also smelled terrible in the maze probaby because of the Grievers. You took a right turn and than another one, a left, another right until you reached 7.
"We need to stop!" You yelled.
"No we have to keep going, the doors are going to shut soon and we will be stuck with the Grievers all night." You had to tell him.
"We need the key to open it"
"Than get the key?"
"Okay, but hope you had a good sleep
We are going to be here for awhile."
"What do you mean?"
"There's this thing in the Grievers
It activates the door to escape,
We kill the Griever we get the key
And than we escape."
"Why didn't you tell me this?"
"Because I knew you wouldn't want to do it"
"No shucking duh I wouldn't want to do it."
"Whatever its to late now, its dark and we need
To find one survive from it and kill that thing to escape"
"Now let's sit down and wait"
"Fine" Thomas rolled his eyes.
All you could think about was Newt, how did he react when you weren't there when he woke up. Your thoughts started to wonder off to something you did but didn't want to know the answer to.

What if they aren't even looking for me,
Wondering where I am.

What if they don't actually care about me.

Stop it of course they're looking for you,
And care about you.

"Calm down Y/n, they're looking for us" you didn't know you were showing off your thoughts.
"Yeah" you didn't know so you didn't believe what Thomas just said.
You suddenly heard something, it sounded like metal against the maze walls and ground. You and Thomas both stood up and got ready to fight whatever that was.
A little lizard came from the corner.
"Oh it's just a lizard" you heard Thomas say.
You took a few steps to go pick it up and hold it when something grabbed the lizard and ate it but it was dark out and very hard to see what it was but you knew what it was, cause you remembered what it looked like and it was the one you hated the most and was the worst. It came out of the darkness and made a loud noise.

It was a ugly looking scorpion Griever.

- how was this one? I thought it was good. BTW the reason why I said scorpion was because there's Grievers who look like spiders and than there's the other ones with the tail that looks like a scorpion.
