"Something's not right." William lowly said.

The atmosphere was now thick and anxious. It was still and breathed in, waiting for so sort of storm. It was unnerving to Theseus and William. They had no weapons on them and Theseus had just sprouted his wings.

The darkness of the forest didn't help the mood set by the feeling. The sun had, by now, fallen giving attention to the moon. The night animals talked among  themselves, minding their business. The wind blew more aggressively then usual. It warned the boys of the troubles to come. But of course the boy couldn't hear.

The breeze made Theseus shiver and his bloody wings stiffen.

He shot his head to his side as he heard  the rustling of leaves coming from the forest. The sound was trying to keep the noise down as if stalking the young Avian. Animals would not make these sounds. The noises would be more reckless, more normalized. It was clear to Theseus that there was most definitely someone or thing hiding in the plants. He didn't want to ponder on the thought any longer.

Theseus tugged on the sleeve of his brother, signaling him."William. I-I think there's someone in the bushes."  he whispered.

William sucked in a breath.

"Let's....continue on, flower. We need to get home. Fast." He whispered to Theseus as he grabbed his hand. The two pushed forward with a new eerie and terrifying silence walking with them. just as the two enter the house the sound of breaking glass screamed through their ears causing the boys to jump lightly.

Theseus turned to scan the forest. He swore he heard whispers from behind the trees. They were being watched. His words froze in his throat. Something was more than just "not right." This was an attack. And their was an attacker in their house.

William slowly opened the door as a concerned Theseus clutched onto the fabric of his navy shirt.

"Your gonna be worth a very pretty penny at the market." A gruff voice chuckled from the kitchen.

"Get the hell off of him!" The very stern voice of their older brother, Technoblade, shouted. His voice was followed by sounds of heavy commotion. William turned back to Theseus.

"You remember the fighting games dad would have us play together?" William tried pathetically smiling. It was no use. The panicked was leaking all over. This was more than he could carry all of the sudden.

"Mhm...." Theseus hummed, scared.

"W-We're going to need to play! We need to play the game right now!"

"But I-I-I can't. I'm not strong enough William!"

"Nonsense! You almost beat me countless time!"

Sounds of hurried footsteps surrounded the house. There were more people outside.

William quickly gathered hidden chest plates, helmets and swords. He armored up his brother making sure to keep his wings hidden. Theseus would be a target if they were exposed.  He then armored up himself. "Your going to have to trust me Theseus. Listen to my words carefully, yeah?" William whispered. "Stay by my side. Do more blocks than attack. I know how much you like to attack but now isn't the time."

Theseus nodded. Just then a man burst through the window. It was a hunter.

"Theseus, stand back!" William shouted, blocking the man so he couldn't grab Theseus. The two worked together to slay the man.

Soon after, a body came tumbling into the living room. It was their father. "DAD!" Theseus cried running to his father's aid whilst William fought off more hunters. Philza's left wing was bleeding.

"Theseus.....my son....We must all leave this place. They followed me home from the market. They come in groups."

Theseus moved his arm under his father's waist surprisingly being strong enough to carry more than half his weight. "Where's Techno? We have to leave!"

Soon enough Technoblade came in with the head of a man. And a bloody shirt. He stumbled over to where Philza and Theseus were located. Theseus said nothing as Techno ripped his shirt to tend to Philza properly. Their father continued to mumble words of nonsense as he was supported by his sons.

A rock shattered the glass window stealing Theseus's attention as they headed towards the back door for the sweet embrace of escape only he noticed there were only three of them. Him, Techno, and his father. William was missing. "William!" Theseus cried as he let go of his father turning to go to the living room. Techno grabbed the boy's arm, tightly.

"Where are you going Theseus!?!" He asked strained.

"Will! He's still inside! I have to get him Techno!" Theseus shouted through pleading eyes.

Techno fought his thoughts. He shouldn't let his ten year old brother head back into the flame of a dangerous fight. It was irresponsible. Yet arguing with the younger wasn't going to help anyone. Theseus was always going to choice William.... So Techno let go of his younger brother. A feeling of finality exploded in Techno's stomach as Theseus raced back for their brother. The brother he always chased.

Tommy frantically searched for his brother as he swiftly avoided the hands of wounded hunters that slowly died on the ground. "You little shit!" A furious voice roared. William held his arm as the hunter raised his sword to jab at William. Theseus ran to pick up a nearby sword and without hesitation he plunged it into the hunter. No fear.

"Theseus! We must leave! Where's Technoblade and Dad?!" William cried. He held his arm that had thick crimson red seeping through his finger tips. The tip of a gash in the skin was exposed.

Theseus thought of how Technoblade had cared to their father and decided to take the same approach. He tore a bit of his shirt and wrapped it around William's arm. Theseus then helped his Brother to his feet as they limped toward the kitchen.

"I-I-I will leave without you William! I'm staying by your side! We are brothers!" Theseus stated boldly. He wasn't one to back out on a word nor was he one to abandon his blood. He'd do the same for any member of his family. Even Techno.

William smiled. A smile that warmed Theseus's heart. "Let's g-" A snake like hissing filled the now dead silent room.

"What's that sound?" Theseus asked searching the room.

As his vision found the source of the hissing a bright beacon of light stood tall. The light captured Theseus in an intense glow. The boy could've sworn he could see little shapes dancing in the light.

Finally it spread widely, consuming anything that the light laid upon mercilessly.

Which unfortunately included the poor brothers.

Sound seemed non existent for long treacherous years, in reality it was only a total of five minutes.

Small fires danced on the remains of the wooden house and surrounding forest.

Items, materials, furniture and any other object in the house was burned or scorched.

And as far as the distraught Philza and Techno knew...

Theseus and William Minecraft were dead.
