Ophelia stood in front of the judge, breathing slowly to try and calm herself down as she waited for the jury to make their decision. She glanced at her lawyer, who had done an exceptional job defending their case, and then at Sam, then back at the judge. "The jury finds that the defendants are guilty." The judge announces. Ophelia's stomach turns, and she had to fight every muscle in her body to keep from throwing up. "Your honor-" Steven began to protest, but the judge only holds up a finger. "Ophelia James and Samuel Kiszka will not be incarcerated for their crimes. Instead, each of them must do community service. We will discuss at a later time the specifics of their punishments." He explains, and a wave of relief washes through Ophelia. Community service she could handle. But she wasn't going to jail. That was what she needed to focus on. "Dismissed." The judge says, and Ophelia screws her eyes shut.

"Fuck." Sam says under his breath, grabbing Ophelia by the waist and pulling her into a tight hug. She hugged him back, letting out a breath before pulling away. She had the overwhelming urge to say something she knew she shouldn't, but she swallowed back her words and turned back to the lawyer. "Thank you. Seriously. We cannot thank you enough." She exclaims, and he gives her a smile. "That's what I'm here for. You two should get home, and make sure to stay out of trouble." He shot her a wink, and she nodded with a grin. "Of course." She takes Sam's hand, pulling him out of the court room and out the doors. "I don't think I've ever been so terrified." She admits, looking up at him and trying to calm her heart rate. "Me neither. But we made it out, that's all that matters." He mumbles, pulling her into another hug and squeezing her tightly. "We should probably go back so we can get back to school. I don't wanna miss anymore classes." She sighs, pulling away as he nods in agreement. "Yeah, me neither."

Sam carried the last of his things from his old dorm to his new one, Ophelia following behind with another of his boxes. As soon as they had gotten back to school, Sam was informed that they were moving him out of Max's room - for obvious reasons.
They had moved him down one floor, having just one opening left in the hall given the fact it was halfway through the semester. "I wonder what your roommate is like." Ophelia says, setting the box she was carrying onto the floor. "I'm just hoping he's not the reason the last guy dropped out." Sam shrugs. It was a different set-up than his last one, just a single room instead of a full dorm with two separate rooms and a common area. It resembled Ophelia's almost exactly.

Sam looked at his roommates side of the room, studying the posters on the wall. "Well, he's got good music taste." He notes, and Ophelia follows his gaze. Music posters were all along the wall, everywhere from Led Zeppelin to Hozier. "Hm. Don't go falling in love with him on me, Sam." Ophelia grinned, helping him start to unpack. "I can do this. You've still gotta get your stuff from my house." He says, pulling her in and kissing her softly. "I'll let you know how meeting my roommate goes." He smiles, squeezing her hand. Ophelia nods, "I'll be back in a little bit."

She makes her way out of the hall, meeting Jake at his car and getting into the passenger side. "Thanks for helping." She says, leaning back in her seat and letting out a breath. "No problem." Jake grins, turning up the music a little as he begins to drive. Ophelia felt the nausea start to return only a few minutes into the hour long ride. She clutched her stomach and groaned, resting her head back against the seat and trying to ignore the dizziness. "You alright?" Jake asks, looking over at her with a concerned expression. She nods a little, "Yeah, this has been going on for a few days." She explains, putting her hand on her forehead and taking deep breaths. Ophelia squeezes her eyes shut, her head spinning at a million miles an hour. "Pull over. Please, pull over." She begs, and he does so almost immediately. He parks his car on the side of the road, watching as she rushes out of the car while holding her stomach.
