"You are such a simp." Komori laughed as his cousin makes his way into his bedroom, he'd just gotten back from walking Kirika home, which he insisted on doing.

"What?" Sakusa said sharply, turning to glare at his cousin who was lounging on Sakusa's bed like he owned the damn place.

"Come on. You've never let anyone come to watch you practice, not once. Yet when Uzume asks to watch you, you say yes with no hesitation at all." Komori waggled his finger in Sakusa's direction, acting as if he was Sherlock Holmes and just cracked a huge case. "You can't say no to her, it's like you're wrapped around her little finger. Therefore you're a simp." Komori concluded.

"The girls who asked to watch us practice before were all annoying with fake personalities and ulterior motives. Kirika is my girlfriend so why wouldn't I let her watch us practice?" Sakusa sighed in exasperation, stripping off his team jacket and hanging it on the hook on the back of his bedroom door.

"That's not the point," Komori rolled his eyes. "The point is how fast you said yes, simp."

"Motoya shut the fuck up."

"Whatever... simp."

Sakusa was absolutely living his best life for the next week, his crush by his side 24/7. He never really imagined speaking to her let alone holding her hand and acting like a couple.

But people began to question things. Teenagers were nosy. always managing to stick their nose into things that weren't any of their goddamn business, and the students at Itachiyama were no different.

They began to talk about how detached Sakusa and Kirika's relationship seemed and that it looked like he didn't even like her, which was the complete opposite of the truth because god, did Sakusa have the most embarrassing crush on her.

They said that they never show each other any affection as if it were normal to be overly affectionate in the middle of the school hallways.

It angered Sakusa more than it should have for someone who was just a fake boyfriend, but he still planned on fixing it.

"Kirika," sakusa called out from across the classroom, beckoning his 'girlfriend' over. Sakusa was leaning on his desk near the back of the classroom whilst Kirika had migrated to the very front, chatting aimlessly with her friends.

She bid them goodbye and skipped over to Sakusa happily, not expecting to be clomped into an awkward hug. Now, hugging was in fact part of the 'contract' that they had written up before they started to fake date, but Sakusa was not big on PDA and Kirika wasn't about to put him in an uncomfortable situation.

"'Yoomi are you okay?" Kirika whispered though she wrapped her arms loosely around his torso anyways. She could feel how tense he was and didn't understand why he would take such a leap outside of his comfort zone.

Sakusa grunted and adjusted the placement of his arms to make himself more comfortable, ignoring how his heartbeat was practically audible to everyone in the room. "People were talking about how our relationship looked fake."

"yeah, but you're uncomfortable, I can feel how tense you are..."

"Not because of you, it's because of the people staring," Sakusa admitted, his dark eyes darting around to the people left in the classroom as they occasionally glanced at him and Kirika.

Whilst it was his plan to get people talking about their affection, he didn't like how people actually had to see them being affectionate to do so.

"Kiyoomi you shouldn't put other people's standards of what a relationship looks like over your own comfort," Kirika scolded lightly, taking a step back so she could look at his face.

Sakusa didn't say anything, instead pulling her back against him and leaning down to rest his chin on her shoulder.

'This is nice...' Sakusa thought. It was a pity this would all be over within the next month. He did say that he was going to use this opportunity to make her fall for him, but he had absolutely no idea how to do that. He'd never been romantically involved with anyone, nor had he ever seen how people in relationships act.

He wouldn't accept defeat though. He would try his hardest from now on to express his feelings or 'make it seem like he likes her' as the other students put it.
