Tea Parties part 3

A Few Days Ago

"Oh my gosh!" The butler said as he run to the count's study. He then handed him the letter from the emperor. Where it said that the princess Athanasia will be attending his daughter's tea party. and that knights will be sent to look after her.'

He smiled and called his daughter Anna to his study. When she arrived, he suddenly lifted her up? "Good job Anna. His majesty confirmed that the princess will be attending your tea party."

She smiled and said, "see I told you she seemed to like me."

He put his daughter down and ordered the staff, "yes, yes. Now I want everyone to start preparing for Anna's tea party." He then turns around to his two sons and said, "I expect you two to be in your best behavior."

They then bowed and said, "yes father."

They then turned to their little sister and started raffling her hair, "good job squirt."

Her eldest brother then said, "if all goes well this will help our family's business."

"Yes." Anna said as she beams.

"Anna don't forget to mention that the princess will be coming to your party." The countess said.

"But mother I already sent out all the invitations a few days ago." She said.

"You what?!" Her mother said in shock. "You should have waited for the princess's reply."

Anna then said, "I didn't think she'd say yes, and I didn't want to make empty promises. I'm sorry."

The count sigh and said, " its fine. We'll just do our best to make princess Athanasia feel welcome."

A Few Days Later

After Helena Irain's tea party, replies saying that they'll be in attendance for Anna's tea party started coming in. "What's going on?" Anna ask. "How come all these people suddenly want to attend my party.

Her second brother came in the room and said, "I heard when I was out. The princess announced at Lady Irain's tea party that she will be here, and after that she's going to host hers."

Anna then said in shock, "but that means!"

Her brother's eyes narrowed, and he smiled as he said. "Whoever doesn't come to your party won't be invited to the palace."

"Oh, no!" Anna said as the pressure is on her and her family to impress the princess.

Emerald Palace

Athanasia sat at her desk while looking out the window as she thought. ' My tactic seems to be working. Now everyone wants an invite to Anna Green's tea party. This will undoubtedly make it clear to everyone how much power I have.'

"Lily!"

"Yes princess."

"Can you get Hanna and Ces. I need you 3 to help me write invitations."

Lillian then said, "I'll go get some parchment then."

"I want it to be in general terms since I will be handing them over myself."

Lillian the ask, "do you know how many will be in attendance at the tea party princess?"

Athanasia then said, "I only plan to invite the girls my age, so make it about 20 to 25 people."

Lillian then said worryingly, "that's a lot for your first-time hosting princess."

"I know, I don't actually plan to invite every single girl that maid their debutante this year. In fact, there is one person I rather leave out, but if I do everyone might say something. So, let's just invite her." The maids clearly know who Athanasia was referring too, but didn't say anything against it since the princess has already outweigh the pros and cons.
