Jennette mingled along with the Alpheus while they talked to the other nobles. Jennette's aunt glance at the side as she heard the other nobles talk about her niece.
They whispered, "looks like his majesty already forgot about the second princess."
"I heard she was put on probation after insisting to have more maids at the ruby palace."
The other lady then said, "to think she asked princess Athanasia when his majesty already decline her ones." The countess was about to walked over to them when....
"Presenting their majesties Claude de Alger Obelia and the First Princess Athanasia de Alger Obelia." Everyone then bowed as they saw the emperor and the princess. They seated on the throne for a while. As they waited for the food.

Athanasia whispered into her father's ears and said, "daddy I'm hungry. When is the food ready?"
Claude then looked up at Felix and said, "Felix is the food ready?"
"Almost your majesty." Athanasia glance at Jennette's direction and thought, ' looks like they're about to come here. '
A servant came out outside, ring the bell, and said. "Dinner is served."
Claude took his daughter's hand and led the way to the dining room. He pulled the chair to his right and had Athanasia sat on it. Jennette was then led to seat beside the first princess by a guard. The seats on the emperor's right consisted of Athanasia, Jennette, then the dukes going down the ranks of nobility. While the foreign delegates and the not so important nobles of the empire seated on the left. Claude glance at Felix and ordered the food to be served. As the appetizer was served everyone looked at the emperor as he picked up his fork. Claude could barely touch the soup when all of the sudden Jennette started slurping her soup. Athanasia glanced at the person seating next to her with annoyance. While Jennette didn't even notice that nobody was eating yet and that everyone was staring at her. Instead of humiliating her the first princess choose to ignore the second princess and set an example. She asked the servant to take her soup and replaced it with a salad. Claude followed his daughter's lead, and everyone followed. Jennette didn't even notice that everyone else was eating a salad.
When the main dish was served everyone begun to talk while the emperor and the first princess listen to the foreign delegates. Athanasia was eating her meal comfortably when Jennette started talking. "Wow! The steak is so tender. It's very delicious. I don't think I have ever tasted anything this good before. How do you like your sister?"
Athanasia waited until she was done chewing to answer the person next to her. She then said, "its fine taste is the same as always." She then cut the steak and continued on eating.
"Really? You must have gotten used to it living in the palace all your life...." Jennette said as she let out a smile.
Athanasia glanced at her and thought, 'did she just called me ignorant.' She then turned to Jennette, smiled, and said. "Oh, my! I didn't think that the duke had such poor taste in food." Everyone then turned to the princess.
