Chapter.6 "Corn"

Crystal Pov

"You all will stay in different rooms"
Suga said as he stuffed his hands in his pocket, Walking away

"Don't mind him, He's like that"
Jin said as he scratched his neck, Apologising for the younger one

Namjoon clapped 5 times and some female maids came wearing simple black frocks with white aprons, Bowing at them slightly
"Show them all the rooms we decided"
He said looking at them, He shifted his gaze as he looked at us, Shooting a cute smile. His dimples in the sight

They all suddenly touch one of their ears, Their AirPods to be more specific.
They all share looks Like they're communicating with their eyes. They all nodded slightly and looked at us, flashing a normal nervous smile

"Uhh, you all can go and check your rooms. We got some work to do"
He said as he removed his hand from his AirPod. Looking at us nervously

"Yeah we got some important business"
Jin smiled and they all walked away, Whispering things

We all looked at the maids as they smiled at us. A maid which I think is the oldest pointed her hand upwards the staircase. And walked towards that direction still looking at us, Signalling us to come with her

Some other maid took Rosé and Jisoo with her towards the other staircase in the opposite direction as ours.
I, Lisa, and Jennie followed her. We climbed up the stairs and saw only two rooms there. We looked at each other and then the maid

"Oh I'm so sorry, I forgot that there were only 2 rooms on each side."
She said nervously as she bowed multiple times

"No- no it's ok. Humans make mistakes"
Jennie said as she stopped the women from bowing again and again

"Is there one more room anywhere where I can stay?"
I asked as I was scanning my surroundings

"Yeah but-"
"It's ok I'll stay there. Let them stay here."
I said looking at her

She nodded a bit unsure and we walked together towards the room.

We walked towards a very corner of the house.

It was a dusty, dry, and dark place. Spiderwebs and spiders could be seen.
A huge wooden door ahead of us. The wooden door followed an ancient style. With huge iron rings attached to open it

I held the iron knob and opened it. The door made a loud screech. It surely was old asf.

As I entered the room. A huge amount of dust entered my nostrils.
*cough**cough* I coughed and sneezed

"Are you okay? That's why I wasn't sure if you would be able to stay here"
The woman said patting and rubbing my back

"It's ok. I'm a little used to it uhh.. miss?"
I said while rubbing my nose, slightly sifting my gaze towards her

"You can call me mom"
She said as she smiled sweetly. Her smile really did remind me of my.....

Mom

"Umm-"
She saw my hesitation and gave me a pressed lip smile

"It's ok if you don't want to, I understand"

I looked at her and said
"Thanks for understanding"

"You can call me Miss Ashley"
She said and we both shifted our gaze inside the room

A dusty, obsolete room with no shortage of spiders and spider webs.
Many random cardboard boxes were laying around. Some of them were pretty old and rotten but some looked really new.

"Is this a storeroom?"
I asked her in confusion

"Well, no actually. Even I didn't know that there were these many boxes here, This room hasn't been opened for many years"
She said as she went near a wall and turned on the switch. The bulb turned on making the yellowish light spread across the room

"Don't worry I'll be back and calls some more workers to shift all these out"
She said before heading out of the room leaving me alone

I wandered around the room and observed the boxes. I cleared dust of some and saw that it all had some labels.

One particular box caught my eye. It was pretty new and while others were of a darkish brown colour that one box was of an orangish black pattern.

I went near and saw that the seal was already torn. It was titled "Corn". I crouched down and opened the box and saw condoms, Birth control, vibrators, handcuffs, blindfolds, and what not?

It was a sex toy family package.

"I think the P erased a bit and started looking like a C, these things don't even shock me anymore"
I said as I closed the box before standing up and pretending that nothing happened.

After some time I heard footsteps as the creeky door opened. Some men dressed in black came and started taking out the boxes.

Miss Ashley came with our only ✨Coney✨
He had his hands in the pocket while Miss Ashley had her hands clasped in front formally

He looked at me and raised a brow, He asked her something while pointing his index finger at me.

"Look you all shift all these boxes in my room first"
He said clapping informing all the workers.

TIME SKIP

All the workers had done their job, all the boxes were successfully shifted to that Coney's room.

The room was still dusty and dark. And about the bulb, it stopped working suddenly.

Tho they said that they'll make this room a more livable place till the end of today. I'm not really sure

JUNGKOOK POV

My room was covered with new and old boxes. I was checking through all of them if any of them have been opened or not.

I reached a particular different coloured box. It was the one I was most worried about because it was already opened and stood out of all the boxes because of its colour. I brought this to my room by myself cause I don't want anyone to see it.

I opened it and nothing was particularly missing. I saw a piece of paper with a message

"Hide it in an ordinary box next time. And yeah WITH a seal"
Wait-
DID SHE SEE IT!?!

"CRYSTALLLLLLLLL!!!"

Crystal pov

"Did someone just scream my name?"

"Oh never mind it's just that Coney. No need to worry"
I said as I continued to stare at the people cleaning that room
