Chapter. 13 "bonding"

JUNGKOOK POV

It's been hours...
She's still unconscious...

Why am I worried?
Well, because I can't do anything but see my little sister in her. I know she is not her. Well, I'm confirmed she's not her cause she doesn't have that mark. The scar of a knife on her forehead. My little coco once accidentally hurt herself with a knife and got a scar.

I wanted to remove that mask and see her full face so bad... But at the same time, I didn't want to invade her privacy.

I sighed. If only I was brave enough to fight that day...

I looked at Crystal with tired eyes. Long eyelashes, dark brown short hair, perfectly shaped still half-covered nose. But her skin was abnormally pale and dry for some reason. She was really skinny tho she eats pretty much?

She looked so tired and worn out, there were eyebags under her eyes.

Why is she so tired? Her aura is always so heavy and....sad?

I want to know about her more, I want to know more about her life more... I don't know what this curiosity is but-...

Suddenly

I saw Crystal moving around the bed uncomfortably. Drops of sweat were being collected on her forehead.

I held her hand unconsciously.

Her hands were so cold.

But she's sweating? I touched her forehead and it was BURNING

Does she have a fever?

I quickly turned off the fan and covered her with one more blanket.

She started breathing heavily. I panicked

What should I do?... What should I do?...

Wait! I think I should spray some water on her!

I ran towards the door and opened it. Took a water bottle from a nearby table and ran back to the room.

I opened the cap and took some water in my hands, later spraying it on her.

She flinched and got up at the contact of the cold water with her skin.

She was taking heavy and quick breaths.

She looked at me, still trying to take her breathing in control.

AN POV

"What are you doing here?"
She rattled out. Quickly letting her guard up

Her throat was sore and dry. Hair messy and eyes were tired. She sure looked worn out.

"You fainted so I was looking after you."
Jungkook said, avoiding eye contact. Looking somewhere else while Crystal's gaze was fixed in him.

"YOU? Looking after ME? where are the others!??
She said looking around, trying to find someone.

"They're all gone for a collaborative mission, to get some info about dark killers"
He said licking his lips, nervous.

"Oh... And you? Aren't you the boss?"
She asked suspecting him.

"I had to attend an 'only mafia boss' meeting today morning"
He said making up a story.

How is he supposed to tell her that he took a leave just to look after her?

"Ohk."
She said not wanting to speak anymore cause her throat was aching.

"Uh- do you want some water?"
He asked giving Crystal the blue bottle he brought from outside.
