Chapter. 17 "My story"

JUNGKOOK POV

I saw as her happiness fades away, her breathing becoming abnormal. Sweat getting collected on her forehead.

She's having an anxiety attack

I quickly got up from the chair and sat beside her, wrapping my arms around her body. Hugging her securely.

"Calm down... Calm down... It's ok, you're safe. Breathe in, breathe out. It's ok to not be ok"
I try calming her down with soothing words, She inhales and exhales. I feel her fast heartbeat slowing down slowly.

"Do you feel better?"
I caressed her back, she hummed in response and wrapped her hands around my waist, snuggling in more.

"I'm tired... I want to sleep"
She said dreamily. Her eyes were already half-closed as I looked at her.

"Okay... You can rest. I'll take my leave."
I said, laying her down on the bed and covering her with the cotton duvet.

I stood up and exited the room.

"Calm down heart, what has happened to you?"
I said planting and keeping a hand on the left side of my chest, feeling the racing of my heartbeat as my back rested on the wall.

"Are you okay, sir?"
A nurse who happened to be passing by asked.

"Yeah... I'm good"
I replied nervously.

She gave me an unsure smile and walked away.

I saw her Id-card fully tangled with the hair behind her back and chuckled.

"Who's gonna tell her?"
I thought and walked away.

I was laying on the bed, wide awake.

Thinking about him, thinking about Jungkook.

I sighed and got up, laying my back on the bed headboard.

"Did I really fall for him!?"
I yelled, frustrated as I ran my fingers through my hair.

"That smile turned into my life"
I whispered as flashes of his bunny smile flashed in my brain.

" You know! You see the person who you love when you close your eyes!"
Young Jennie squealed happily.

Young Jisoo chuckled.
"Really? Who do you see when you close your eyes?"

"ME FIRST! I see Rosé unnie!"
little Lisa exclaimed.

"Aww! Thank you! Even I see you!"
Rosé said making a heart with her cute little hands.

I closed my eyes and saw a flash of my brother, smiling.

I softly smiled.

Then the picture changed and I saw a young man with a bunny smile.
Jungkook...

I opened my eyes and sighed.

"I don't have any option than accept my feelings, not like he'll love me back tho..."
I said like a hopeless lover, my eyes half-closed.

A short memory of my past relationship crossed my mind.

I jolted and sat straight, my eyes wide open. My breath was getting heavier as my hands started to tremble.

"Calm down, calm down. It's ok. Breathe in, breathe out."
I repeated Jungkook's words, shooing away the attack before it fully comes as I breathed heavily.

"This man just opened the box of my emotions that I kept locked for so many years and I can't FREAKING HANDLE IT!"
I yelled as I grabbed my hair.

I heard the doorknob of my room moving, as I quickly laid down and acted like sleeping.

I heard the door open, the sound of footsteps came near me as I felt a hand caressing my hair.

"I wonder what made you like this"
The voice said and sighed afterwards.

Oh, it's Jungkook.

He messed around with my hair, I felt millions of butterfl- no a whole jungle dancing in my stomach.

"Everyone heard the news that you're finally conscious. They were very happy"
I could feel him smiling through the sentence.

"I didn't tell them about your mental situation tho, I know you don't want them to worry"

Thank God he didn't...

"Well, I brought fruits for you thinking that you're awake but..."
He sighed,

I heard the sound of the plate being kept on the table as he stood up.

"Have a good sleep"
He said before going out.

"He cares about me so much..."

"I think not now then afterwards I was SUPPOSED to fall for him, how can he be so sweet?"
I sighed. Thinking about him as I drifted to my dreamland.

"How's Crystal doing?"
A voice asked through the video call, It was Suga.

"Yeah, she's good. Sleeping right now"
I replied, ensuring she was doing all good.

"Do you want me to bring some chocolates?"
A muffled voice said behind him.

"Yeah sure, just if you don't finish it all-"
I replied, assuming his mouth full of chocolates.

"Yeah c'mon! Not my fault these chocolates taste so. Damn. GOOD!"
Jimin said coming in the vision of the camera. Hands and mouth covered in chocolate.

"Aish... Now I'm hungry!"
I said, slightly pouting.

I looked around and found a sweet shop nearby. My mouth started watering almost immediately.

"Uhh- I got an urgent work-"

"Yeah, yeah, munching on some sweets is definitely urgent"
Namjoon came into the vision, smirking with hands in his pocket.

"YAHHH NAMJOON!!! DID YOU BURN THE RICE AGAIN!!!???"
Jin shouted as fast stomping footsteps accompanied later.

Namjoon widened his eyes and got ready to run.

"Rip Namjoon Hyung, also don't break anything while running. Now bye I'm hungry"
I cut the call as soon as I completed the sentence. Giving them no chance to speak.

TIME SKIP. WITH CRYSTAL

"Crystal... I guess I'll like to tell you my story"
I sighed. As I remembered what the psychiatrist said to me.

"Mr, Lee. In order to make her pour her heart so that she doesn't suffer in silence. You need to tell her about your stories. If there's something you pushing away by telling her. Please tell her, it's ok if you're uncomfortable with a topic, don't tell that topic but tell her something personal. People start trusting you more when you tell them something personal."

"You know why did I start to care about you so suddenly?"
I said, Getting serious

She looked at me and smiled

"It's ok, you don't have to force yourself to tell something personal."

Shut up, Jeon! Stop simping!!

"That's very thoughtful of you, Crystal. But I just want to lessen the weight on my heart a little bit..."

"Sure then, go on"
She said looking at me.
