Chapter. 18 "What will I tell him!"

JUNGKOOK POV

I felt my throat getting dry. As the painful memories of my sister getting taken away.

I shut my eyes tightly. Preparing myself to let it all out.

I felt my eyes getting moistened.

I took a deep breath and opened my eyes.

Jungkook looked at Crystal with a broken look, like a lost puppy.

"I-I had a sister... A cute little sister"
Jungkook said and gulped. Feeling his heart getting heavy.

Crystal just couldn't take him being sad... She patted his back. Trying not to cry.

"You know... You remind me of her... Don't take it like I'm only helping you cause-"

Crystal cut him off

"It's ok... I know you don't mean it that way... Go on"
She said looking at Jungkook, just how broken and sad he looked.

"When I was 6... S-some people took my sister w-with them... M-my father was a mafia... T-that day he also died..."
Jungkook burst into tears. Hugging Crystal tightly.

Crystal shut her eyes at the pain. Jungkook hugged her too tightly. Rubbing her wounds. But the physical pain was nothing in front of the pain rising in her heart. She caressed her back.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook... But I'm not your sister"
She said so that he doesn't get confused.

"I-I know. There were some scars she had on her hand, y-you don't have them"
He said between her sobs as he hugs her tighter.

"Y-you know... Even I had a brother."
She said. Looking out of the window. Looking at the sky to be more specific.

Some drops of tears slipped down her face as she looked at Jungkook.

"So the method is working?"
Jungkook thought.

"We got separated at a very young age, that's a long story. I'll tell you some other day"

"Nevermind, this girl is smart enough to not reveal everything by just a flow of sadness"
Jungkook thought and shook his head.

A flash of his sister getting kidnapped flashed through his mind.

He bit his lip and shut his eyes. As more tears fell.

"It's ok, Jungkook. We have to go on no matter what"

Jungkook snuggled in more. That's when she lost control.

"AGHH-"
She yelped in pain. Jungkook just pressed the wound on her chest with his head.

"OW- SORRY SORRY-"
Jungkook gets taken aback by the loud yelp made by her. He must have hugged her too tight to give her THAT much pain.

"THIS STUPID CONE-"

"I AM NOT A CONEY OKAY!!?"
He cuts her off. Annoyed

"YOU DO LOOK LIKE A BUNNY!!"

"NO, I DON'T!!!!"
He said as he stomped out of the room.

CRYSTAL POV

I saw as he stomped out of the room. I chuckled.

"Such a cute bunny"

"Why are you feeling something towards him? You shouldn't!"

A man appeared in front of me out of nowhere.

My body started trembling.

"You're MINE"

He said and started coughing. Getting bit translucent

"W-what's happening to y-you-"
I asked, my voice came out almost like a whisper

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!! I'LL DIE BECAUSE OF YOU-"
He said in his deep demonic voice.

he started disappearing. Coughing blood.

"It's all your fault!! I'll die because of you"
He said as he hit me with his belt.

"AHHH- NOO!!!"
I started pulling my hair at the memory.

"P-PLEASE DON'T H-HIT ME!! PLEASE"
I screamed helplessly. I looked up and saw no one...

"H-he's g-gone.?.."

I burst into tears. Hitting my hand on my head repeatedly.

"WHY DID I GET ATTACHED TO HIM!!??? WHAT WILL I TELL HIM NOW!!??"

I was going out to get a walk when I got a call.

"Why is the doctor calling me now?"
I thought as I picked up the call.

"Mr Lee, please come to my office as fast you can!"
I could sense the seriousness and tension in his voice. Which of course made me tense.

"OK BE THERE IN A MIN"
I cut the call immediately and ran there as fast as I can.

I banged the door open when I reached there, panting.
