Chapter. 23 "Meeting him"

CRYSTAL POV

It was morning, We had a flight to India at 7 pm today. But I wasn't really sure Coney would be comfortable enough with me to go today, I was convinced that we aren't going today... Well any day to be honest.
I booked a hotel room from the money I had in my backpack.

Here I was, fixing my collar in front of a mirror.

*beep* *beep*

The doorbell beeped,

"Come in"
Just the time I said that, the door opened and a one-wheeled robot came in with a tray in his metal 'hands'. A glass of orange juice was on the tray. I took it and sipped a little with the straw.

"The  breakfast  is   ready,  please  come  and  collect  it"
It said in its robotic unnatural voice. A sufficient gap between every word.

With that, it returned and the door closed automatically.

I sipped the orange juice. And looked at my smartwatch.
"6:53 am"
There were exactly 12 hours and 7 mins left for our flight.

"I don't think I'll have breakfast today, sorry little robot"
I took my backpack and wore it while rushing out of the room.

Climbing down the escalators cause they were too slow, I heard a robotic voice.
"EAT BREAKFAST! EAT BREAKFAST EVERYONE"
It swirled around as it announced it.

"CAN'T DO IT TODAY! SORRY"
I playfully said and got out of the hotel. Stuffing my hand in my pocket and talking out a small plastic thing. I threw it on the road.

"TRANSFORM TO A FLYING BIKE"
In mid-air, the device changed to a bike and I jumped on it, The bike landed on the land as I kept my right leg down on the road.

What is this? Oh, the flying car I took from their mansion. Just a 'little' modified.

I wore a white and red schemed helmet that matched the colour of the bike.
The bike started flying as I pressed a button. It bashed forwards.

I wasn't sure if that Coney was still at the hospital or not. But there's nothing wrong with checking once.

"Transform to a small box"
I commanded when I saw that I reached.
The bike, including my helmet, changed into a small box mid-air. I was not too high in the air.

I grabbed the box and immediately kept it in my pocket, Later landed on the ground in the 'super-hero landing pose' like a pro.

I stood up and cleaned off the dust on my clothes. I looked at the hospital in front of me and sighed.

"This all would've never happened if I never felt anything that day"
Blaming myself again, I walked in.

The corridor echoed as I walked.
The flashes of the event that occurred yesterday went through my mind. I still walked with a cold face. Hiding the feelings deep inside me.

I saw my room and heavily sighed.
"Please be here. Please"
I wished and grabbed the doorknob and tilted it.

I opened the door and saw something that left me shook and broken...
