Hello all! No talking just onto the chapter!
The update notification probably says first time skiing but that was a typo and autocorrect made it skiing.
Probably because I was talking about skiing with a friend over text so yeah. Now onto story :D

I handed the money to the kind person at the rental skates booth. "Size 6," I said and they headed to the back to get my size, coming back after 30 seconds or so.
Their name tag was blue with a rainbow heart sticker on the corner and it said 'Zeno, they/them (minor)'
Their hair was short, curly and black with pink and blue strips in it. They wore round glasses and had a nose piercing."I like your name!"
"Thank you!" They replied with a smile, "Would your friend like some skates?" They asked, acknowledging Ranboo.
"I haven't had to explain this much so I might not make much sense..." I paused collecting thoughts and figuring out how I would say this, "But he's a ghost. Most people can't see him though." I said in the most awkward way possible and I mentally facepalmed wishing I had worded it different.
"So I am looking at a ghost right now?"
"Yeah pretty much. He's really nice though you have no reason to be scared of him!"
They nodded and slid my skates across the table in my direction.
I picked them up by the laces and said a quick 'thank you' to Zeno before turning around and walking away.
I sat on a bench and Ranboo sat next to me. Being a ghost he wouldn't need skates to go skating with me. I don't know how it worked but he is just able to skate without actual skates on.
I finished tying my second shoe and I stood up, immediately very shaky and wobbly. Ranboo grabbed my arm in attempt to help me balance which only made me fall over and we bursted out in laughter.
"Wow, very helpful," I said in a sarcastic tone.
He held his hand out and I grabbed it, using it to pull myself up. We giggled quietly as we slowly made our way to the skating rink.
I stepped onto the ice. One foot ... Then the other.
I started to slide out onto the ice and was pretty good at first surprisingly. Then I immediately fell backwards. Luckily Ranboo was there to catch me and I fell right in his arms.
We both bursted out in laughter from that.
He attempted to help me right myself so I could attempt to skate once more but his foot was in front of mine and we both tripped.
He both hit the ice with a loud thump.
We really are bad at this, aren't we?
"Ya know," he laughed a bit, "we aren't very good at this." He managed to say through his laughter.
I nodded and our laughter slowly died down.
"Let's try that again," I told him.
He agreed and stood up, helping me up while making sure he didn't trip either of us this time.

After probably an hour we finally figured out how to skate.
I was getting surprisingly good at skating and started to go fast.
I grabbed Ranboo's hand then pulled him with me as I skated. I surprised myself with how I had actually learned to skate well and
I was having fun and I could tell Ranboo was too but at the same time I was bored of doing the same thing for so long.
"How about we go do something else."
"Like what, Tubbo?"
"Like... uhhhh I don't know! An amusement park!"
Why did I say amusement park? I'm not a big fan of the crowds.
"Yes! I love those!"
Amusement park it is then

"Galaxy vans with white sides, practically falling apart, size six!" I told Zeno with a smile.
(Based off my own shoes hah)
They walked to the back to find my shoes.
I sent my mom a quick text telling her we would be at the amusement park if she wants to know where we are.
Zeno reappeared with my vans and we traded shoes.
"Hope to see you again! Have a good day!" Zeno said with a smile.
"Thank you! I hope to see you again too!" I replied.
Zeno seems like such a cool person. I hope to see them sometime again.
I slipped my shoes on and we left.

"Ya know, I think all places should have pronouns on name tags. It just makes sense."
"Yes I agree with you," I responded to Ranboo nodding to myself as I said it.
We were walking on a bridge that goes over a busy road. I stopped and looked over the edge through the scratched up plexiglass.
"We're pretty high up above the road," I said, saying my thoughts out loud.
Ranboo hummed in agreement.
I walked up to him and walked at his pace at his side.
We arrived at the light rail station after 10-20 seconds. I scanned my pass and took my ticket.
I looked at the times, taking a mental note that the C line will arrive in 5 minutes.
There were a lot of people at the station. I grabbed Ranboo's hand and brought him to a bench that was empty. I sat near the edge so that there was just enough space for Ranboo to sit down and no one else would sit there because they would be pressed against me.
Ranboo sat down and leaned against my side.
After not too long our light rail came rolling up to the station.
I stood up and he stood up with me.
We boarded the train and sat down on a seat.
