Ahh the most wholesome ship... Some say they stay low-key and I won't deny that. They like to keep their sweet moments private, a moment only they know. But once in a while Huening likes to flaunt his cute boyfriend, which is why right now, in his bed in the middle of winter, his hyung is cuddled and asleep on his chest, he decides to take a photo. A cute photo with a sleeping, pouting Gyu. A wholesome sight for a wholesome couple. "Can't believe an angel fell asleep on my chest. #휴닝카이" that's the caption. The whole twitter world got shaken up, but he doesn't bother for his lovely boyfriend has woken up.

"Hi hyung." Kai says cooing at his hyungs cuteness. "Hi hueningie" the older replies as he rubs his eyes. "I thought I was the baby? Right now the biggest baby is here snuggled with me—" Huening's murmuring was interrupted by a peck on his lips, staring at his hyung with owl eyes and a questioning gaze. "Ok fine~ I'll admit it, I'm the biggest baby." Beomgyu says with a pout on his face. Kai smiles sweetly, "My cute baby~" he rubs their noses together making the older giggle and sigh contently. "Come get ready, let's go for a walk." Kai suddenly states, grabbing his hyungs hand to manoeuvre him to the closet. Beomgyu tried to ask why but he wasn't given a chance so he complied and got a simple gray hoodie, black pants, gloves, a wool scarf and 2 winter jackets to layer them for it is a cold winter. Reaching for a simple pair of boots he walks towards the doorway and slips his boots on, turning to the younger to signal he was done.

They walk in silence in the cold winter night, they arrive at a small playground and turned their heads to glance at eachother, laughing as they made eye contact. They sit on the swing and admire the falling snow, Beomgyu notices the unusual quietness of the younger. Kai is always beaming with energy and would likely start a whole conversation but today he has been quite reserved. "Kai-ah is there something bothering you?" Beomgyu asks out of worry towards the younger. "Hmm? No hyung, just reminiscing about our relationship for the past 4 years." Kai replies still looking straight and not meeting Beomgyu's eyes. Beomgyu on the other hand, starts to panic. 'Why is he reminiscing our memories? Oh gosh— is he breaking up with me? Is this our goodbye? But we were fine awhile ago? Did I do something?—' "Hyung are you there? Why do you have a big frown on your face?" Kai waves his hand in front of the said hyung to snap him out of his thoughts. "Oh uh, I am really sorry Hueningie! I swear whatever my mistake was I won't do it again, just don't leave me!" the older bursts into tears and hugs Kai tightly. 'Oh shi— I didn't mean to make him think I'm leaving him'

"Hyungie, no I'm not leaving you. What made you think that?" He said reassuring Beomgyu and strokes the hyungs hair to calm him down. "Y-you p-promise? Y-you won't leave me?" Beomgyu says looking up at Kai. "No hyung" Kai separates them and starts explaining. "These past four years has been the best, because you filled them hyung. I love everything about you, your smile, personality, habits, 'flaws'—" Beomgyu laughs at the younger's reaction when he said the word 'flaws'. "Hyung I don't want to meet someone else, I want you and only you. I want to spend all of my mornings with you by my side, I want to argue with you over small things and make up within minutes, I want to laugh with you, cry with you. I want to experience growing old with you. These words aren't enough but I swear I'll say more in my vows. So," To say Beomgyu was stunned is an understatement, even more when the younger knelt on one knee. He hasn't realised he was crying yet again before feeling the cold wind blow them away. "Choi Beomgyu, my bear, my one love, my bestfriend, my everything, will you marry me?" Beomgyu nods eagerly and a says yes over and over again as he sees Kai slide a ring on his left ring finger. Kai stands up and kisses the older, slow but passionate. As their lips disconnect, they giggle. "I wouldn't take no for an answer anyway." Kai says making the older laugh, "Who am I to say no to you? I love you too much." Beomgyu replies. "Come on my fiancé, let's do something at home." Kai says dragging the older lightly back home. "I wonder what that means?" Beomgyu says tauntingly which Kai only answers with a smirk.
