Fluff, slight crack

Beomie

Soobin:
Yah bear!

Beomgyu:
What do you want oversized
bunny?

Soobin:
Let's make a deal

Beomgyu:
Sometimes I wonder wtf is
going on with your head...
Beomgyu:
So, what's the deal? (I'm like
making a deal with the devil)

Soobin:
Stfu brat
Soobin:
At what age would you give up
marriage?

Beomgyu:
Hyung... Did you hit your
head on a concrete or what?

Soobin:
Answer the question dumb head.
Soobin:
You decided to call me hyung?

Beomgyu:
Shouldn't have added the
'hyung'... uhm I guess 37..?

Soobin:
The deal is, if we don't get married
by the age of 37... then let's just
marry eachother.

Beomgyu:
That's stupid, but it's better than
dying alone. Yeah, deal.

It was a stupid deal but somehow, Beomgyu found himself hoping for years, that Soobin won't find someone. He found himself falling for his bestfriend of 18 years... That dumb stupid deal when they we're 22 made Beomgyu fall into a pit of one-sided love. Clutching his heart as he counted the days until he turns 37. Beomgyu wondered if his hyung still remembered.

They had relationships, but it never lasted. Both just settling into earning money and spending it on themselves. It was as if the world wanted them to be together. Well, that's Beomgyu's wishful thinking. He wonders if Soobin feels the same, that maybe he isn't the only one waiting. Why were they even waiting? Why couldn't they just say it face to face? But it was only clouded with one thought.

"What if I'm assuming wrong?" Both the actor from the TV and Beomgyu's thoughts mix. He mindlessly looks at his surroundings, why'd they even bother to live in different places? Soobin's things were around his home and Beomgyu's things also find their way into Soobin's home. It was a normal occurrence to enter his home only to be met with Soobin already crashing in his place.

It kinda feels domestic... Like it was meant to be that way. Like they were meant to live together, like husbands. Whenever Soobin crashes in his place, he comes home to him cooking in the kitchen, a small turn and a greeting. Soobin always asks how his day went and tells him about his. It's like coming home to your family. He wishes they were. And maybe Soobin does too.

It was kind of a joke at first, but Soobin found himself wishing time would go faster. He found himself waiting for 14 years. And now the days were closing in, his feelings are amplified, heightened with the thought of finally confessing. He can't believe that he's bought a ring. That joke of a deal has made him restless and more aware of what's to come.

He's never gotten serious with anyone because every time he tries to, he only sees Beomgyu. He sees Beomgyu's figure in the person, somewhere, almost everywhere. Beomgyu is the only one he sees in his future, and he can't keep lying to the person. He's already faced the truth that no one can and will be Beomgyu. Call him lovesick, but it's the truth, he lost in the game and has drowned in his thoughts of Beomgyu.
