Fluff (high school setting!!!)

"First year in high school" Huening mutters in English as he holds the paper containing his schedule. "Okay, you got this" his foreign accent evident in his voice. He knocks on his classroom's door as a little come in is uttered. He bows as he enters the class, "Okay, please introduce yourself." The teacher's korean accent confuses him a little bit. (Annyeonghaseyo hueningkai-ieyo— sorry) "H-hello, I'm Huening Kai. My family recently moved back here from the States. Please take care of me." He hopes his korean sounded atleast understandable.

"Okay, please take a seat besides... Kang Taehyun, please raise your hand." A boy with glasses ushers Kai to seat besides him. "I'm Kang Taehyun, president of this class. Nice to meet you." Taehyun says in straight english. "O-oh you can speak english?" Kai asks surprised but also excitedly. "Yep! So how many years did you live in the US?" Taehyun didn't worry about the teacher since he was a top student.

"Thanks for the tour Taehyun." Kai thanks him happily as they walk towards the canteen since it was nearing lunch. "I'll introduce you to my friends. They're nice don't worry." Taehyun drags him to the canteen that was surprisingly almost empty. "The bell didn't ring yet, we have 15 mins before lunch." Taehyun said as if reading his mind. "Oh Taehyun-ah!" A boy with pink hair waves at him next to a giant looking bunny and a cute bear with deep red hair.

"Guys, meet Huening Kai, my new classmate and friend. Kai meet Choi Yeonjun—" "I like it pink, this is my boyfriend Choi Soobin" Yeonjun says while hugging the bunny beside him. "Thank goodness you came Tyun, this is suffocating." The bear pouts. "This is Choi Beomgyu, they are not related by the way." Taehyun ignores them. I looked at the bear— I mean Beomgyu-ssi, he is so cute, I wanna squish his cheeks.

"So... uh, I'm Beomgyu, second year, and these two lovebirds are third. I guess I'm your hyung?" Beomgyu tries to make a decent conversation as he found the younger staring at him. "Oh. So it's Beomgyu hyung?" Kai asked making the shorter nod his head cutely making Kai's knees weak. "You're tall... like Soobin hyung. Wow." Beomgyu says in awe, "Oh right, would you mind helping me get lunch?"

As weeks, months pass, the duo gets closer to eachother. Ofcourse Kai grew closer with the others, but he would usually cling to Beomgyu. "Kai, I feel like my stomach is following your hand. It's swirling." Beomgyu jokingly complained. "Sorry hyung, you're stomach is just soft and warm." Kai mumbles as he sleepily rests his head in the crook of Beomgyu's neck. "Aigoo, the baby is sleepy" Beomgyu coos.

"I feel like they're the couple, not us." Yeonjun states, "I feel the couple goals... I'm jealous." Soobin judgingly looks at them. "Oh shut up, you're not used that someone is clingier than both of you." Taehyun says as he smacks the back of their heads. "They like eachother, too soft to admit. But I am smart Taehyun. Don't worry." Beomgyu turns to look at the three boys 10 feet away from him and Kai. "What's up?"

"So, do you plan on confessing?" Taehyun asks Kai who just sat on his chair. "What?" "You know, Beomgyu hyung might accept someone's confession if you don't make a move." Kai froze, "What do you mean Beomgyu hyung?" Taehyun sighs, "We know you like Beomgyu hyung, both of you are so oblivious about it, you better make a move." Kai although surprised, nodded. "When do you think I should?" "That's your problem."

"Beom—" "Beomgyu-yah, I've liked you for 2 years now. I just wanted to let my feelings out. I hope you give me a chance." Beomgyu blinked as if he was lost, "D- I- thank you but—" Kai stepped in, "Hyung are you coming? Everyone's there except us." Beomgyu unconsciously held Kai's arm. "I'm sorry, you're a great friend, I appreciate you but you'll find someone better, I promise." Beomgyu politely said to the boy.

"It's fine Beomgyu-yah, thank you for not making me feel like shit. You're so kind hearted. Take care of him Kai" the boy winked as he walked away. "Huh?" Kai and Beomgyu confusingly left school. "Took you long enough to find the skate park." Taehyun complained. "No, we just had to deal with someone at school." Kai answered which made the others raise their brows. "Can someone help me balance on this board?" Beomgyu suddenly asks.

Kai held Beomgyu's hand and also an arm behind Beomgyu just to make sure he was safe. "You're doing great gyu!" Yeonjun yelled. "Hyung shut it, you're gonna jinx me!" Beomgyu replied and sure enough he lost his balance and fell backwards into Kai's arm. (Gosh kdrama vibes.) Beomgyu looked up with his doe eyes making Kai nervous. "Thank you." Beomgyu said in a small voice making Kai's face go redder. "I-it's fine, let's take a break?"

"Aigoo Beomgyu your face is so red." Yeonjun teases him, "You like him yes?" Soobin asks and the younger could only nod his head. "There you go." Yeonjun smiles and cups the younger's cheeks, "Go confess darling, he's waiting." Beomgyu squeaks at the thought. "No, no, he doesn't like me." Soobin facepalms, "This stupidity is..." "Shhh, let my baby breath, I'm sure they'll end up together." Yeonjun shushes Soobin.

"It's confirmed Kai, he likes you, so now go plan!" Taehyun pushes Kai, "I— Wait— Stop pushing, I'm going okay! So rude." Kai huffs as he walks out the door. "Maybe in a few days, happy?" Taehyun nods and waves him goodbye before shutting the door. 'I can't go all out, it's not like I have a big allowance. They threw a fit when I said I wanted to have an apartment close to school.' Kai sighed. 'At home then... More comfy and I can set up a movie date.' Kai nods along his thoughts as he giddily skips home.

Beomgyu nervously fiddles with the end of his sweater, he's in Kai's apartment. "Hyung, you can pick a movie." Beomgyu grimaces, "No~, you pick the movie Ning." Kai laughs, "Okay hyung, I'm coming with the snacks and drinks." Beomgyu shuffles to move aside so Kai can settle down the bed/couch. The room was decorated with fairy lights, the couch was extended to make a bed, it was soft and comfortable.

Half way through the movie, Beomgyu found himself in the arms of Kai. Head in the younger's chest as his hand trace circles in his abdomen. Kai held him close, it felt like they were home, where they belong. It was comfortable, a feeling they want to feel everyday. Beomgyu sneaked a glance up, only to see Kai already looking at him. "You look so cute hyung." Kai cooed and held Beomgyu to sit on his lap, like a baby.

"This is embarrassing, I'm your hyung." Beomgyu buried his head on the younger's chest. He could feel Kai's laugh, "But you look so cute right now. My baby" Kai says with adoration as he caresses the older's head. Beomgyu feels his whole face heat up at the younger's words. "Stop, I might think you like me too." He murmurs on Kai's chest. Kai smiles and lifts Beomgyu up, they stare at eachother's eyes.

Kai brings the older down to his level, still staring at his eyes. Beomgyu's eyes flicker down to the younger's lips for a mere second which Kai noticed. Kai leans in to kiss Beomgyu. It starts off, soft and light before their emotions took over to act the words they wanted to say. The feeling of love, happiness, and wanting. Beomgyu wraps his arms around Kai's shoulder as he tilts his head to deepen the kiss.

Kai holds the older's waist, responding to the older's kiss with the same speed. Out of breath, they disconnect but don't move away, connecting their foreheads. "Do you really like me?" Beomgyu asks, still unsure even after what happened. "I don't like you, I love you hyung. This might be too fast or too young as other people say, but I love you." Kai admits. "I love you too Ning... I love you" Beomgyu says relieved.

"So, we're boyfriends?" Kai asks as they finished cleaning the food they ate. Beomgyu stops and smiles at Kai. "I can be your husband too you know." Beomgyu replies making the younger go red and plop down to the couch. The older laughs and lays beside the younger. "Stay the night?" Kai pleads, "Now, who's the baby?" Beomgyu says but still moves closer to feel Kai's heartbeat. "I'll stay. Thank goodness it's Saturday tomorrow."

"Mission accomplished" Taehyun waved at the two figures behind him. "I want home now, I don't want your couple shit." Taehyun says as he walks away, back to his home. "Awe... our two babies" Yeonjun fake cries as Soobin rubs Yeonjun's back to 'soothe' his drama. "Let's go now Junnie." Yeonjun only nods and lets Soobin lead their way home.

Update🤩 I didn't notice it has 4k views, thank you everyone! I have lots of ideas for the next oneshots, angst would be 2 chapters ahead(?) and would also be continuous. I'll try to make them heavy enough to make us cry (inside or outside).
