Olajide Olatunji.

It was 08.21 in the morning. As I wake up, I see that my bed is empty. Well, not really because I was in it, but you get what I mean. Simon wasn't there.

Obviously he might think that I don't remember yesterday. I wasn't even that drunk. Plus, I don't lose my memory when I get drunk, only losers do that.

As I made my way to the main room, I saw Simon drinking some orange juice.

"Really, Simon? Apple juice is way better.", I joked when I plopped down next to him.
"Oh shut up! Orange juice has more flavour. It's just- magical.", Simon explained as he formed a rainbow with his hands.

"You're weird, you know.", I giggle when I get up and move to the kitchen.
I grab some type of crisp and pour myself some apple juice. I notice Simon has gone quiet.

"Hey, are you okay?", I ask him when I notice his distressed facial expressions.
"I'm fine!", He cheered when he put his phone away.

"You sure are.", I winked as Simon turned a new tone of red.
"Shut up.", Simon hissed, jokingly.

"Simon?"
"Jide?", Our serious conversations always start off like this.

"Why did we always argue when I was with Amelia?", I asked him, unsure of how this would end up.
"Uhm, don't know Jide.", He responded very bluntly, leaving us in a very awkward silence.

"Actually, I do know.", Simon shot in.
I looked at him in confusion.

"Knowing that you'd pick her over m- us, hurts. Especially if she isn't good for you. It was clear she was using you, yet you let her. And that, my friend, pissed me off.", He explained. He made me feel like an idiot.

"Was it really?", I asked, slightly tilting my head.
"Yeah.", He says, after following a silence.

"Do you think Tobi still knows?", I ask him and immediately laugh at the face Simon pulled.
"You remember?", He asked me, confusion laced in his tone.

"'Course I do. I initiated it, anyway.", I saw him slowly smile. I'm not sure what for.
"Oh, but to answer your question; Yeah, I think he does. He was the sober one of the bunch. And if you remember, he surely remembers.", He explained as he crossed his arms.

"You're not- embarrassed by your action?", He asked me.
"What? Of course not. Why would I be?", I innocently rest my hand on his shoulder, making him look at me when he talks. It's one of his bad habits. When he gets nervous, he looks away. I try to help him with that.

"Because. I mean, first and foremost; I'm a guy. You're not gay. Plus, I'm your best friend. Don't you think it's weird?", He seemed so confused by the fact that I didn't mind the kiss we shared.

"No, I don't think it's weird. Also, I'm not specifically straight, either.", I winked as his cheeks flashed a shade of pink.
"Wait- so you're saying you like me?", He asked me with a teasing tone as I got up.

"Question unanswered.", I yell when I run out of the main room and to my room.
"JJ! Don't 'Question Unanswer' me and my question!", Simon yelled back at me and I just responded with loud laughter.
