“H-Hi S-Sal.” (y/n) said nervously when Sal stopped in front of her.
“Hi (y/n).”
“S-so uh, a-about y-yesterday… C-can I-I have uh, h-have some m-more time?”
“Of course! Like I said, take all the time you need.”
“Th-thanks Sal.”
Sal nodded.
“We can walk home together and you can tell me then, unless you need more time. No pressure.”
(y/n) felt slightly relieved at his words. Knowing that Sal was willing to wait for her answer made her feel a little better. She nodded and smiled softly at him.
“Thanks Sal–”
(y/n) was cut off by the bell.
“See you after school.”
Sal said and waved as he walked to his class. (y/n) waved back even though Sal had his back to her and turned in the opposite direction towards her class.
She ended up making it to class in time, sitting down right as the bell rang and the teacher walked into the room. As the teacher started talking a folded piece of paper was slid onto (y/n)’s desk. She turned to the direction the note came from and saw someone she didn’t know sitting in the desk next her hers. The person noticed (y/n) looking at them and pointed to the desk next to them where Ash was sitting, Ash waved at pointed to the note. (y/n) gently grabbed the paper and unfolded it.Did you say yes yet???
(y/n) felt her face heat up and looked to Ash, who seemed to be listening to the teacher. (y/n) grabbed her pencil and wrote a reply.
No. I’m not sure what I’m gonna say yet.
(y/n) slid the note onto the unknown student’s desk. The student looked over to (y/n) and pointed to Ash. (y/n) nodded and smiled to them as a thanks. They gave the note to Ash who happily opened it. After reading what (y/n) wrote Ash’s smile turned to a frown and she looked over to (y/n) with a disappointed look. (y/n) looked away and slid down in her desk, waiting for the bell to ring.
At lunch (y/n) sat down in her usual spot but Travis wasn’t there. She looked around the room but couldn’t find him.
“Maybe he’s in the bathroom.”
(y/n) told herself. She tried to ignore the nervous feeling that clawed at her gut but couldn’t shake it off. After a while she looked at the clock, lunch would be over in about five minutes and Travis was nowhere to be seen. Worry, nervousness, and guilt built up in her. (y/n) got up and left the cafeteria to try and find her best friend.
Spoiler, she didn’t find him.~sorry
I've been busy~
