Yay lunch time again. (y/n) sat at the same table as the other day. She woke up in the middle of the night from another nightmare so she was really tired. (y/n) would have sat next to Sal and his friends like he said yesterday, but she was too scared to go near them. (y/n) looked at blonde guy and saw he looked more beat up. Oof.
“Why do you look like you didn’t sleep?” Blondie asked.
“I-it’s nothing, don’t uh worry. What about y-you? You look more uh beaten up.”
Blonde boy glared at her before letting his face soften.
“Nothing. Just stuff at home.”
“Are y-you sure?” (y/n) gave ol’ blondie a concerned look.
“I’ll tell you some other time.”
“Take all the t-time you uh need.”
(y/n) left it alone.Later at the end of the school day Sal walked up to (y/n).
“Want to walk home with me?”
“Aren’t you gonna w-walk home with your uh friends?” (y/n) asked, nervous about making his friends mad at her.
“They’ll be fine without me.”
Sal waved his hand dismissively.
“Besides, you’re my friend too.”
(y/n) smiled and thought about how nice Sal was to her.
“Alright.”
