3. Training

(AN: Yo I am back, I am sorry I did not post on Friday or Saturday, So i wanted to say that from now I will be posting on Sundays since Fridays and Saturdays are the days that I am free so I get more time to write new chapters and brainstorm some new ideas. So with that done, ENJOYYYYYYY😁😁😁😁😁.)

Naruto was sitting on his bed with sweat all over his face and body, he tried to calm down as he started remembering what dream he just saw.

(Flashback)

Naruto blinked his eyes open and sat up in a place filled with darkness. Soon he heard a noise but could not understand what and where the weird noise was coming from. The noise slowly started to stop as he saw the same green slitted eyes he saw in the training ground. As soon as he was about to say something, there was a bright flash of light and the next thing he knew he was sitting on his bed with sweat all over his face and body

He looked at his alarm clock seeing it was six thirty he got up from his bed and made his way to the bathroom to freshen up, after brushing his teeth and washing his face he wore a red tracksuit given to him by Shisui on the second day of his training.

After a light jog, he returned and started to do some exercises. Once done he went to the kitchen and made his breakfast which was a bowl of cereal and some cookies that were given to him with his new apartment.

After he finished his breakfast Naruto got up from the table and washed the dishes, he then went in his room in order to dress up for the day, Naruto wore a white jacket with green horizontal trims going from his collar to his sleeves blue joggers and a pair of blue shinobi sandals.

Naruto went out and started making his way to the playground where he was supposed to meet his friends. Once he arrived, he found out that Naruto was the first one there. Seeing this, he decided to do some light jog just to keep himself occupied.

After a hour had passed, Naruto could be seen sitting on the swing still waiting for his friends to arrive. As he was starting to leave, he heard a voice call out to him, "Yo, Naruto." The voice of Shikamaru came with a lazy yawn at the end.

"What took you so long, I thought you had forgotten!" Naruto shouted out, not realizing the deadpan look on his friends faces.

"What do you mean?" Choji asked with a confused look while eating his favourite potato chips.

"I have been waiting for hours, what took you so long and why are you so late?" Naruto said now with a tick mark on his forehead.

"You idiot! Did you think about looking at the time?" Ino shouted as she bonked Naruto on his head and continued, "we are here on time, you are the one who came at the wrong time!" Ino said and bonked Naruto on his head a second time.

"Oh..........." Was the smart response Naruto gave as he blinked a few times with a comical deadpan look on his face. A few more silent and awkward minutes later, Naruto started, realizing one of them was missing, "Ummm, guys, where is that pink haired girl?" Naruto said, forgetting the name of the person he was talking about.

They all looked at him with a confused look until Ino realized who he was talking about and began speaking, "Ohh, you mean Sakura?"

Naruto nodded as he looked at Ino for some more information about the pink haired girl, Seeing Naruto's questioning gaze at her, she just shrugged implying she had no clue as to why Sakura did not come.

"Maybe she was busy or something." Naruto said, as the rest of the kids nodded in agreement and began playing.

After a long while of playing hide-and-seek with his friends, they all could be seen sitting down in the middle of the park discussing what to do next. "What should we play next?" Ino asked, excitedly as she looked around at her friends who were looking tired and completely out of it, well except Naruto that is, he is always hyper and energetic.
