(AN: A quick lil chat here, again I don't have any excuse for being this late, and honestly it wasn't even supposed to be this late. The chapter was almost done and had been sitting without any updates so I just decided to finish it and finally publish, I'm still trying to get regular publishes. But I just can't find the time and motivation. But no worries, Imma complete this story one day. That's about it. Enjoy the chapter.)

"Death? Is that what he calls them?" Shisui looked around, ignoring the screaming Mei for the time being. "Who are you!?" He ordered, "Show yourself right now!" His tone showed anger, his voice trembling, screaming with rage. Every word coming out of his mouth was filled with pure burning spite. He didn't know why, but that Kikee kid started to grow on him. She reminded him of Naruto.

His fully matured Sharingan sprung out, spinning violently like a highly reactive chemical reaction. The amount of power was almost visible. The trails of red made his eyes look that much more powerful.

"Ahhh, the Sharingan," the man revealed himself. Golden eyes with black slits in the middle, off-white clothing with a big ribbon-like purple belt around his waist, long silky hair, and that unmistakably pale skin. The man hissed, "Such a shame I am not here for it now. I got what I wanted."

"Orochimaru," Shisui growled out.

"Awww, what's with the harsh tone? I won't touch a hair on your skin for now."

"Where is Crane?" Shisui whispered loudly enough for Orochimaru to hear.

"What a leader, doesn't even know his comrade's names. Well, to answer your question, you gotta find out," Orochimaru said, gaining an annoying smirk on his face.

Shisui flickered in front of Orochimaru within seconds and grabbed his collar roughly. "Tell me where she is, you snake bastard!"

"Heh," Orochimaru chuckled.

"You find it funny." Shisui's eyes started spinning hypnotically. His hand took a Kunai out of his pouch. But his body stopped when it felt a pair of sharp claws ready to rip his back and end him.

The creature growled from behind Shisui, poking its sharp fingers even deeper, leaking droplets of blood.

But before it could make any progress, Shisui flickered away with Orochimaru and reappeared below a tree with the snake on top of him.

He flung him to a tree trunk with his hands and feet, using the momentum to roll into a crouched position.

Orochimaru let himself hit the tree but wasn't expecting what happened next. "!?" Two wires were attached at both ends of the collars Shisui held.

Shisui flung in front of him and stretched one of his legs back, making it hit Orochimaru's chin. Bending his head horrifically out of position. "Not done just yet." Shisui then spun around and grabbed the back of Orochimaru's head, hitting his nose with his knee. The power of that knee made Orochimaru stand up, wobble back, and fall on the ground trying to figure out what just happened.

Shisui then flickered to Mei, stopping an incoming claw aimed at her neck ready to take it off. "Mei, focus up!" Shisui's tone was hurried.

"But Kikee, she-she's-." Mei looked up at Shisui with teary eyes.

"Dead. I know, but now isn't the right time to mourn," Shisui interrupted her.

The force which Shisui had blocked with his blade had suddenly stopped, making him stumble forward.

He saw a massive white fist approaching him in slow motion. Everything slowly got slower for him, even his own movements.

'Come on, lift that hand, lift that hand,' Shisui panicked and somehow got his hand between his face with the fist approaching at the last millisecond.
