Spring 2034
-Come on, everybody out of the bus.
Eddy was looking at the Moroccan landscape through the window of the bus in which he hadjust spent two hours. It was the end of his journey with his whole class to Morocco. Afterflying to London, they had taken a bus to Agadir where they would spend two weeks on aschool trip.
Eddy's parents were of Moroccan origin and he was the only one in the family who did notspeak the native language, so at his high school they enrolled him in an Arabic class.Alas, it was not with joy that the first grader left to discover his parents' country of origin.During those two weeks, he was not going to be able to work in the café that earned himpocket money, nor to see his college friends. So when his classmates shook him around toget him off the bus, he pushed them away, swearing.
- Come on Eddy, hurry up and get off.
Even his teachers were after him, so with a lazy impulse he grabbed his bag and got out ofthe bus.
The air here was much drier than in London, he thought he was going to suffocate. Heobserved the scenery around him, the few buildings that stood in front of him inspired littleconfidence, and even the locals staring at him made him feel homesick. He took a look at hisphone and unfortunately he had no access to the internet.
- What a piece of shit...
He followed his whole class through the streets of the city to their hotel and after a shortinstallation, he decided to go in search of the internet. There had to be a place where hecould find a connection. He walked a few streets before stopping in front of a cyber café, itdidn't look very welcoming but the promise of wifi access convinced him.
He pushed the door and sat down in front of the only free computer, the previous sessionhad not been closed, he didn't have time to read a single line of the sites that were displayedin front of him that a hand rested on the keys of the keyboard and locked the screen.- Go ahead my little one, don't hesitate to take my place.
Eddy was surprised to hear the fairly correct English of the stranger standing next to him.
- Do you speak English?
- And you speak Arabic to go to a cyber cafe lost in Agadir?
- I just want to go home...
- What's stopping you?
- I'm on a school trip. What the hell were you doing on that computer that you wanted to hideit?
The stranger laughed before turning the screen back on.
- Do whatever you want with my research.
The young man was very surprised to have access to the computer again but sighed whenhe discovered the trick, the research was in Arabic. When he turned to talk to the stranger, the stranger had run away. There was no way Eddy would be fooled like that. He left the barand scanned the surroundings, obviously no trace of this mysterious man. He let his instinctsguide him and walked along the now dark streets of the city. He didn't really know why hewas doing this, but he wanted to find out more about this guy who gave off a completelyweird aura. His journey might gain a little spice thanks to him, so we might as well find him. After a few minutes, he spotted a cellar entrance, ventured in and fell directly on the fugitive. He was sitting quietly on a couch in front of a television that seemed to broadcast images ofthe streets of the neighborhood.
