- Brimstone, I have something you might be interested in. Meet me at the address I'msending you.
James Brimstone, professor of science at one of the most renowned universities in theUnited States for the past twenty years and head of a laboratory doing research onradioactivity. Before embarking on this peaceful path, the forty-year-old had joined the U.S.Army as a medical researcher, wandering in war hospitals in search of wounded people whocould be treated with prostheses or new technologies. Thus, he saved many soldiers fromlifelong disability and gained the recognition of many people. However, as time went by, thenumber of wounded was increasing and Brimstone could no longer manage his specialtyalone. Thanks to the suggestion of one of his former patients and now friend Breach, hedecided to become a professor in order to pass on his knowledge.
That evening he had just received a phone call from one of his colleagues. He prepared histhings and looked at the address but wondered when he saw "Morocco" in the message, sohe hurried to call his colleague back.
- Breach, are you crazy? Morocco?
- Surprisingly yes, but something happened there, watch the news.
The professor turned on his television while continuing to talk.
- Do you know how to get to Morocco quickly?
- The best would be to take a private jet, but hey...
"Unknown threat in Morocco", "sudden explosion", "no more information for the moment".The journalist's words resonated in the professor's ears, the case suddenly seemed reallyinteresting to him.
- Are you already in Morocco yourself?
- No, but anyway they will surely try to cover it up, things like that shouldn't stay in the publiceye for very long. Only a few people will be able to access the affected site.
Brimstone is thinking, maybe he should get a pass from his university to get to the site of theexplosion. That way, he and his team could freely investigate the event. He asked hissidekick to get there as soon as possible and called his director to explain the situation. Anhour later, he was on a private jet sent directly by the government to be the U.S.representative. On the way there, he learned that other countries had been affected, soother universities would surely get on board.
After a few hours of flight, he arrived in Agadir in the early morning and as Breach hadpredicted, the agitation around the case last night had subsided, the explosion had takenplace quite far from the city so no one had any reason to wander around.
At the scene, there were only a few policemen who seemed to be waiting for the Americanscientist. Next to them was also Breach, his faithful friend, when they saw each other theyhugged each other, it had been at least a year since they had seen each other. After a warmreunion, they were guided by the policemen to the scene of the explosion, they spoke inrather approximate English but both men understood the main points. They had led thejournalists to believe that it was a failed terrorist attack and that they were going to reinforcethe security of the city. This excuse had worked quite well because the current politicalcontext was quite favourable to this kind of situation.
