The Land of Cardion - Part 2

We left the village in Kingdom of Spades and were on our way towards the Kingdom of Clubs. We had to make a quick stop at the Pond of Spirits to let Tenko rehydrate. The pond was known as the Pond of Spirits because at 12 am, those who are lucky enough are able to see the spirits of a dear loved one that they had lost. And those with a higher chance of luck is able to approach the spirit without scaring them away and communicate to them.

Tenko swam and drank from the pond for around 15 minutes before coming back out and drying himself off. That gave him enough stamina to walk for around 8 hours. We walked through the trees towards the Endless Stream. The stream has been there for thousands of years and hasn't dried out yet. If we crossed the stream, we would reach the Kingdom of Clubs. 

We once again started walking through the smaller woodlands. It wasn't that hard to find the Endless Stream. The only thing we had to do was cross over and god who knows how to cross. The water was pushing too hard for Axo to swim across. We were running out of time. I thought we would be able to cross due to how thin it looks on the map, but the map makes everything looks smaller than it actually does...

"What do we do now, Chichi?" Axolotl asks.

"Well, we need another way to cross.", I stated, "The stream is wider than it actually looks on the map and the water is too strong to swim across. It's also too deep to walk through even."

I thought for a moment as I saw moment from the corner of my eye. The same one I saw at the Forbidden Ruins. I stared at the direction and saw the figure again. He ran off towards the mountain ranges.

"H-HEY! COME BACK!" I yelled as I ran after him.

"Chichi! Come back!" Axo cried out. He shapeshifted back to his axolotl form and sat on Rantaro's shoulder as the vampire guy was much faster and could catch up to me easily. 

I continued chasing after the mysterious figure as he continued running towards the distance. He paused in front of the mountains, unable to move anywhere. I had him cornered. 

"Who are you?" I asked him. He didn't answer. He looked towards me but his hood, the same one as Rantaro's, covered most of his face and I wasn't able to see that much. 

The mysterious person swiftly waved their hand in front of them, causing a blast of fire trail from his hand and making me fall back at his sudden actions. 

"Woah! What was that for??" I asked.

And all of a sudden, he somehow splashes water in my face? How though? If he can control fire, how can he also control water? The person then created an orb of winding surrounding him. I had too many questions in my head. He soon disappeared from sight.

The sound of huffing and puffing were heard from behind me. Rantaro, with Axolotl still on his shoulder, emerged from the darkness. 

"Did you see who it was?" Rantaro asked.

"No.. But he managed to use three elemental powers."

Axolotl returned to human form and was now just being carried on Ranny's back. 

"How is it possible to use multiple elements at the same time, though?" Axotenko had a serious thinking expression.

"I'm not sure but this ain't the fucking Avatar, you know!" I yelled, kicking a rock.

"Ranny," Axolotl said, "What's an 'avatar'? I'm still new to humany stuff."

"Please get of my back-" Ranny said, unable to carry the small axolotl no longer. Tenko slid down to the grass. 

"I don't know who that person was but we need to find him along with the search of the Sacred Scroll of Cures.", I said in a serious tone, "We don't know if he could be an ally to us or not. If he is an ally oh ours, he can assist us with defeating this so called 'Plains'. I have heard many theories that this 'Plains' and her reputation, so we cannot allow any distractions."
