Narae slid into the passenger seat of Jinhyeong's car, immediately relaxing in the smooth leather seats, the heating on full blast and warming her instantly. She sighed in contentment and turned to face him as he started the car and began their journey.

"I still can't believe you're here."

Jinhyeong cast a quick look in her direction, shooting a quick wink in her direction before turning his attention back to the road, "Better believe it baby."

Narae shook her head, an amused smile playing at her lips.

"How's your birthday been? What did you get up to? Tell me everything."

"Well since Yoongi and I's birthdays are so close so we decided to do a joint thing, so yesterday it was dinner at the dorms with BTS, Asa and Tianna." She said as she fiddled with the car's controls hooking up her phone to the Bluetooth system. "Then today, it was supposed to be lunch and the usual binge watch with Asa but she was ill so I had to come back earlier than expected."

"Yeah, she mentioned that when I texted her to ask where you were at. What did you end up doing instead?"

"I moped around for a bit feeling sorry for myself then Jungkook came back early and did the whole living room up with lights and blankets and stuff so we could watch Death in Paradise. The other boys came back too and we watched a few episodes together. When you called everyone had fallen asleep, so it was basically the end of the night."

"That was nice of Jungkook to do that for you." Jinhyeong said casually, watching Narae's face as well as he could whilst driving.

"Yeah, it really was." Narae said softly, remembering the way Jungkook had nervously presented his efforts to her, as if there was even the slightest chance that she wouldn't like it. "He's like that though. He really looks out for me in the little ways. It's nice."

"Good to hear that you're being taken care of. I take it that you're getting along better with everyone."

"I am. You were right." Jinhyeong smiled smugly at that, which made Narae slap his arm lightly, "Don't go getting big-headed, this is a one-off thing."

Jinhyeong thought about making an innuendo, but decided against it, "Sure, whatever you say."

Narae knew she was lying. She often went to Jinhyeong for advice and he was almost always right. He just had the uncanny ability to understand her and her situation in entirety and provide the best possible solution. It was one of the many things that she loved and appreciated about him.

Narae changed the subject, "So are you going to tell me where you're taking me?"

"No, you'll know when we get there."

"Ugh, you're no fun."

"I know."

Fifty minutes later from when they had first set off, the journey time cut short due to the lack of traffic, they had arrived at their destination: Eurwangni Beach.

Narae jumped out of the car excitedly once it rolled to a stop, eager despite the chilly night-time breeze.

"Fuck, we haven't been here in ages!"
