"Well, I should get home." Luke yawned, standing up. It was past midnight, Ashton and Lindsey had already gone home and Catherine was in bed.
"Thanks for having us." Luke smiled. "It was a great party."
"Yeah," Michael nodded.
"For a dinner party, at least." he added under his breath.
Luke quickly pushed Michael out the door, and turned back to Jamie. "Thanks again." He grinned before stepping out too and closing the door behind him.
"They were in quite a hurry to leave," Jamie worried, leaning against Calum. "Was it a good party?"
"Listen, we need to talk." Calum gently pushed Jamie off of his chest.
Jamie felt her heart slowly begin to sink. "...About what?"
"I don't want to date you anymore."
Jamie felt as if somebody had just dumped a bucket of ice water over her head. "W-Wait, what are you talking about?"
"I don't want to see you anymore," Calum's eyes narrowed. "I never loved you Jamie. I was basically just in it for the sex. And since we've only done it once, and it wasn't even that good, I don't see any point in continuing this relationship."
"No, Calum, no!' Jamie felt her eyes fill with tears. "I love you! Please don't do this! You said you loved me!"
"Well I lied," Calum stood up, and Jamie quickly jumped up too. "The Fake never stopped, Jamie. You were just too thick headed to see it."
"Please Calum!" Jamie reached out and placed a shaky hand on Calum's forearm, and a sob finally broke free when he shook her off.
"Goodbye." She thought she saw genuine pain in his eyes, but he blinked, and it was replaced with annoyance.
He pulled open the door, and he was was gone.

As Calum descended the stairs in Jamie's apartment building-perhaps for the last time, he felt tears drops from his eyes and trace their way down his cheeks. The pain he was experiencing was worse than anything he had ever felt in his life. He had wanted, so badly, to take Jamie into his arms and kiss her until her tears stopped, but he had had to restrain himself.
As he climbed into his car and started the engine, he knew with a horrible certainty that he had just lost all of his friends too, because once Jamie told them what he had done, none of them would want anything to do with him. He was suddenly hit with a burst of memory.
"Nobody has to find out about this," Catherine had said as she traced her fingers down his jaw. "It will just be between you and me."
He shook his head, falling back into real life. He did not want to relive even one moment of that horrible experience. He was filled with a terrible regret, and he wished with all his heart that he had never gone into that room with Catherine. He could hardly get himself to believe that the events that had taken place in there had actually happened. It had all felt like some terrible nightmare.
The memories tried to flood into his head again, but he would not let himself think about it.

Jamie awoke, and her body was instantly flooded with a tidal wave of sorrow. Her head ached, and her cheeks were sticky with dried tears. Her back was sore from sleeping on the living room floor, because as soon as Calum had shut the door, she had collapsed in tears.
But none of this pain was even remotely comparable to the pain that was tearing through her heart, ripping it into tinier pieces every second. It all felt like some terrible nightmare. How had he said those things to her? How could he have? She had seen the love in his eyes. He had to have loved her!
But maybe it wasn't love. Maybe she had made a mistake in putting her trust into that man at all.
His words echoed through her head, like some terrible song. "I never loved you, Jamie."
How could he? How could he? That sweet, funny, kind guy! She had been in love with him!
It wasn't love, A little voice in her head sneered. It must have been something else. You aren't capable of love. You are a heartless monster.
There was footsteps in the kitchen, and Jamie squeezed her eyes shut. She knew who it was going to be, and she didn't feel like talking to anybody right now.
"What the hell are you doing on the floor?" Catherine's voice tore through the silence, and Jamie's eyes snapped open.
"Well?" Catherine was looking down upon Jamie like some unforgiving grim reaper. "What are you doing?"
Jamie closed her eyes again, ignoring Catherine.
"Did that dick Calum do something?" Catherine asked. Jamie's eyes snapped open at the sound of his name, used like poison on Catherine's tongue.
"What?" Jamie spoke finally, more of a croak than words.
"I just think you should know," Catherine sat down cross legged next to Jamie. "He kissed me."
"What'!" Jamie sat up, her eyes widening.
"I went to go check and see if he was alright, because he was taking so long in the bathroom," Catherine took a deep breath, as if the story was hard for her to recount. "And he came out of the bathroom, and asked 'Can I talk to you for a minute in the bedroom?', So I thought 'well, why not?', so I went in there with him, and he just kissed me!" Catherine stared off into the distance like a victim of some horrible tragedy. "It was so sudden. There was no way I could've stopped it."
"He didn't love me," Jamie choked. "He was just using me."
"Really?!" Catherine's eyes widened. "What a jerk!"
Jamie nodded slowly, and when she shut her eyes, two fresh tears escaped.
"Sorry I doubted you," Jamie whispered. "I was kind of a jerk to you."
"That's okay, I forgive you." Catherine said. Jamie couldn't see it, but her smile wasn't a kind one.

OMG GUYS! Does anybody have any predictions as to what is going on? It might be pretty obvious, IDK. Sorry this chapter was really horribly written, but I tried my hardest.
Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying this story, and since this is a double update, I don't have a joke, which is probably a relief XD.
Anyway, byeeee!
Keep C.A.L.M.
