Gala

Chapter 7

"Me?" Meredith asked actually suprised she thought he was just messing with her this whole night.

"Don't act so suprised now who else have I been sneaking off and dancing with all night" He told her.

"Some other woman that is prettier and better than me" she responded quietly hoping he didn't her but he did.

He stopped and made her look at him. "I haven't seen any other women here that looks better than you actually your the only woman I have paid attention to because your the only one  I want to pay attention to."

"Really?" She asked suprised.

"Yes really" he said pulling her back into his arms and they continued to dance.

They were dancing for a good fifteen minutes when they were interrupted.
"Break it up you two the gala is almost over and Derek has to say bye bye to his lovely friends" Mark said with a stupid grin on his face.

"What's up with the look?" Derek asked.

"Literally nothing leave me alone!" He yelled and ran away like a five year old.

"Somebody's a little drunk" Derek laughed.

"Seems so" Meredith agreed holding his hand still from when he took it ten minutes ago or something like that.

"Do you wanna stay tonight at my place of course this is my parents place" Derek chuckled.

"Hm, I would like that" Meredith nodded.

"Okay so, I have a shirt that will probably be big on you that you could wear to bed" Derek said looking in his closet as they were at his house.

"Thank you" Meredith smiled.

"Of course" Derek said handing it to her.

She went into the bathroom and got changed while he took off his shirt and pants and put on a pair of gray sweats.

She came put in his shirt and he smiled at the sight. "Wanna watch a movie?" He asked.

"Sure" she shrugged.

"We have to go down stairs to pick it put but then we can watch it up here" he said and she nodded.

They walked downstairs and Derek realized he hadn't offered her much. "Wanna a drink, popcorn maybe?" He asked.

"I'll take water and popcorn sounds wonderful" she smiled.

"Coming right up, movies are over there" he points and she walks over to pick out a movie.

They were cuddled up on his bed watching the movie when Derek started rubbing his hand up and down her thigh. She didn't think he realized what he was doing but she was wrong because he knew exactly what he was doing.

"Derek" she breathed.

"Meredith" he smirked looking at her.

She leaned up and kissed him and he kissed her back instantly. The kiss became more heated and before they knew it clothes were gone.

They had no idea that they could feel this much for someone especially only meeting them so many hours ago.

This story is going to have short chapters and lots of time jumps, sorry I want to finish it soon I only want ten chapters so if I keep working I could get this finished before you know it.
