my ringtone went off from my pocket
"I have to take this," I said, pulling out of the hug
Faye's contact lit up the screen
"Hey-"
"(Y/N)- Custer he- they're- Fez- (Y/N)," Faye let out a sob as she said pointless words
"Faye, what's wrong?" My eye brows furrowed and I moved further away from Elliot and down the hall
"(Y/N), I- I- I don't know," She let out another cry
"Faye just take a breath. Where's Fez?"
I heard her take heavy breaths and I could picture her looking around wherever she was, scared and lost. Her eyes more wide than usual and full of fear.
She let out another sob at the mention of the man's name
I could hear sirens and heavy footsteps all around her, the static of walkie-talkies and conversation around her
"Faye, did they get raided?"
Faye let out her first coherent word, "No. I think they shot him,"
I could feel the blood drain from my body as my world came crashing down on me, "What?" I whimpered, "They shot Fez?"
"(Y/N), I'm scared," She sniffed
"Faye, where are you?"
"The apartment,"
"I'm on my way, please stay there,"
"Okay, okay I will," She said and ended the call
I dropped my phone while trying to put it in the waist band of my shorts.
"What's wrong?" Elliot asked
"I- I have to go," I whispered and walked down the hall and back to the double doors leading to the auditorium where Cassie was standing and looking in
"Go where?" Elliot asked
"Can you take me to Fez's?" I turned towards him
He nodded and reached for my hands and I let him, "Your shaking,"
I held my hands in front of me with no support
"C'mon babes," I reached out for Adrian and he ran towards me, "We have to take my car,"

We slowed to a stop as we saw flashing red, white, and blue lights reflecting of the apartment complexes windows. Dozens of police cars sat blocking off the the boys apartment.
"Stay in the car," I opened the passenger door
"(Y/N)-"
I turned back towards Elliot, "Stay in the car. Don't let Adrian get out. I'll come back." I closed the door and walked towards the caution tape
"Excuse me, ma'am," An officer walked towards me as I got closer to the crime scene
"I live here," I said and tried to look over his shoulder to get an idea as to what had happened
He kept blocking my view and tried to usher me away
"They're my friends. I live here. What happened?" My voice cracked at the end
The officer was about to say something before someone called my name in the distance
"(Y/N)!" Faye called out and ducked underneath the yellow 'CAUTION' tape she ran to me and wrapped her arms around my neck pulling me in for a hug the force from her running towards me almost knocking me over
