7- we finally went to the park

"I'm by the tire swing," I said watching Adrian play in the mulch

"What are you talking about? How many parks does this place have?" Elliot asked, obviously stressed

Currently, Elliot and I were looking for each other in the park. I wanted to meet him in the parking lot, because I highly doubted he knew his way around the large park. As it turned out, I was right.

"Did you go in through the north or south entrance?" I asked

"There's multiple entrances!" He asked, "What the fuck is this? An amusement park?" He let out a breath

"Did you drive under a green arch with vines all over it?"

"I don't know (Y/N),"

"What are you around? I'll come to you,"

It was silent for a second, "There's a giant pond with a 'No Fishing' sign and a yellow slide,"

"Oh, you're really close to us," I smiled

Elliot let out a sigh of relief, "Good,"

"Go to the yellow slide, I'll walk to you," I went to grab Adrian's hand to lead him up the hill and down the short dirt path that led to the yellow slide, "I'll see you in like two minutes," I smiled

"I'll see you in two," He repeated and hung up the phone

"C'mon Adrian," I said and brought him over to his stroller

After the short walk, I saw Elliot sat on the playground equipment while on his phone.

"Look who's over there Adrian," I pointed ahead at the figure on the red merry-go-round

"Elliot!" Adrian called out from his stroller causing Elliot to look up and around the area

Once he found us he stood up and started walking towards us

"Hi," He greeted placing a kiss on my forehead

"Hi,"

"I missed you," Elliot said

"You just saw me," I pointed out while taking Adrian out of his stroller and letting him run around on the black top

"That was two days ago though," He whined

I playfully rolled my eyes as a smile rested on my face, "You have me for the rest of the day, don't worry," I gave him a kiss

He hummed, "Good,"

We walked to the bench just outside the rubbery turf and sat down while Adrian played with one of his toys that I left in his stroller

"What'd you do yesterday?" Elliot asked

"Um, nothing really. Hung out with Adrian and my dad. Oh! We watched BoJack Horseman and we got to season three!" I smiled

Elliot chuckled at my excitement, "You're really happy about that,"

"Mhm, I'm terrible at watching shows so that's like huge for me! Plus, that's why I like movies cause they're short and sweet," I explained

"What did you do yesterday?" I nudged his shoulder

He shrugged, "Just hung out with Rue and Jules,"

I raised my eyebrows, "She likes you now?" I asked

He shook his hand, "Kind of. She still thinks I have a thing for Rue,"

"I forgot I have competition," I laughed

"Yeah, but don't worry," He turned his head to face me, "You're top of the list," He placed his hand in my chin and pulled me in for a kiss
