I woke up to a vibration under my pillow, I reached under it and found my phone.

Maddy ❤️

I slid the green call button over and pressed the phone against my ear.

"Hello?" my voice was still groggy and full of sleep as I rubbed my eyes to clear my vision

"Hey bitch, what are you doing tonight?" Maddy asked

I sighed looking over at the crib on the other side of my room, "Watching Adrian. Why?"

Maddy gasped, "Why? It's New Year's eve (Y/N)!"

I sighed, "And there's a party?" I guessed

"Yeah, duh!"

I finally sat up on the side of my bed, getting a better look at Adrian to see him still sleeping, "I'll ask my dad if he can watch Adrian tonight,"

Maddy cheered from the other side of the phone, "Yay! We're going to get fucked up tonight bitch!" Maddy promised and hung up

I walked into my bathroom, that was connected to my bedroom and looked in the mirror.

I've seen dead people look better.

I groaned and went back to my bedroom to get a bath towel and some clothes. I closed my bedroom door but kept the bathroom door open in case Adrian woke up.

Turning on the water and letting it warm up I undressed and got in. Washing my hair and body, and shaving legs and under arms while peeking into my room every once in a while.

I let the water run over me until my fingers became wrinkled and I got bored. Turning off the water a dried myself off, applied lotion and put on the grey pair of sweats and one of Fez' white shirts. Laying my towel on the bathroom floor to collect any water that fell on the floor.

Adrian's soft murmurs came from his crib and I walked over there to get him.

"Hi bubbas! How are you?" I said in a baby voice causing him to laugh

"Ma-ma!" Adrien giggled

"You think that's funny don't you?" I reached into his crib to pick him up and he raised his arms in the air

"C'mon bubbas, let's see if papa can watch you tonight," I squeezed his check causing him to throw his head back with laughter

Adrian turned one a back in October and he was the light of my life. Everything I did was for him. I just wanted him to have the same amount of love I grew up with even with our circumstances.

"Dad! Are you home?" I called out walking down the stairs into the living room

"Depends, what do you need?" He called from the kitchen

His glasses rested on his nose bridge and a hot cup of coffee with no creamer laid beside him while was on his phone going through the headlines of the day.

"Dad, you know I love you a lot right?" I started, putting Adrian in his high chair and putting his bib on him

"I think you've mentioned it before, yeah,"

"Well, there's this- um- party tonight and I was wondering if you could watch Adrian for a while." I asked, going through the cabinet for his baby food and oatmeal

"I'll only be gone a couple hours, immediately after twelve I'll be back. I promise! I just want to see a couple of friends." I explained

"Yeah, I'll watch Adrian for a while. Rather me than some random walking around," My dad said, "Besides, everyone knows I'm Adrian's favorite grandparent," He shrugged

Adrian smiled, hitting the tray of his high chair.

"Here you go baby," I set the bowl of slightly thickened baby food down infront of him with a spoon.

Adrian was pretty good at feeding himself, but I still watched him in case he needed help with something.

I ran my fingers through his head of (y/h/c) hair.

I grabbed the bag of bagels from the fridge along with the cream cheese, spreading it all over the bagel with a spoon.

My phone rang on the kitchen table and I grabbed it

Fezzy

"Yo, (Y/N) what are you doin' right now?" Fez asked

"Eating breakfast, what's up?"

"You and Adrian should come to the gas station later,"

I looked at the boy in the blue high chair, "Yeah, I'll swing by,"

"That's what's up, call me when you're on your way,"

"Okay, I will. Bye,"

"Bye ma,"

I ended the call and got a rag from one of the kitchen drawers, getting it wet and wiping off Adrian's face.

"Who was that?" My dad asked, pouring what was left of his coffee into the sink and putting the cup in the dishwasher

"Fezco," I answered, cleaning Adrian's hands

My dad hummed, "I'm going to the store, text me if you want anything special." He said

Fez is the closest thing Adrian has to a father. Fez stepping up after I explained the situation to him. Adrian's biological dad being some guy I met at a party in the next state over. It's not like the guy doesn't know, I told him almost immediately after I found out, incase he wanted to be involved or something, but he just kept denying it so Fez stepped in. My best friend of the past eight years and told him the news. Fezco was one of the few people that supported me through the entire nine month pregnancy. Giving into my cravings, helping me get comfortable later into the pregnancy and driving and staying with me in the hospital. At the end of the day, Fez was the one person I could rely on for anything and I appreciated that to a different extent that he couldn't even begin to understand.

"C'mon bubs, let's see Fez and Ash," I picked Adrian up and brought him to our room

It was a warm afternoon in East Highland today so I put a pair of shorts and a tank top on Adrian along with a pair of sandals and put on a pair of white Air Forces myself. Grabbing a ponytail I put my hair in a loose bun and picked up Adrien, brining him to my car and putting him in his car seat. I started the car, letting the A/C turn on and go through the vehicle while I texted Fez we were on our way.
