Chapter 15

- 5 months later-

MARINA POV

It's been 5 months since i last talked to Ellington. I talk with the Lynch's a lot though. They are still supportive of my recovery. I still live with Mags though. She started to get worse and I've gotten better. I've gained 10 lbs. It's really hard but I'm getting there. I am actually free to go where ever but Mags needs me so they are letting me live here. Claudia has been visiting every day. Some times she'll spend the night when she's not with Ross. Mags is still dating Riker. She is as happy as can be. I was in Australia visiting my cousins for a month and i feel like my accent is coming on stronger. Remember Chris? Yeah we are dating now actually. He isn't suicidal anymore and he's turning 20 tomorrow. I love him but it doesn't seem the same way like I loved Ellington. There will always be a spot for him. I am a lot more happy now though. My hair is now bleach blonde with some tiny dreads. Mags took her highlights out.

Claudia and Mags are planning on surprising R5 at one of their concerts that's in Florida. They are leaving tomorrow. I am staying here to be with Chris.

"Mar, what should I wear?" Mags asked looking at her clothes which is now all over the place.

"Do you want something from my closet?" I ask. Her eyes widen in excitement. I forgot to mention that I work as a model for American Apparel. So they give me a discount on their clothes.

Mags ran to my drawer and pulled out a simple black dress. She squealed and put it in her suitcase. I heard the window open and saw Claudia walk in with her suitcase.

"Look what I got!" She waved my lap top in the air. The clinic finally decided that they will let me have it back as long as I don't let Mags on it. I ran to it and quickly logged on my tumblr. 4 hours passed and I was still logged on until I was getting a video chat request. I accepted it and saw shirtless Ross sitting in front of me.

"Oh sorry, I was trying to call Marina."

"Ross. It's me."

His jaw dropped when he saw me.

"You look so much better! Oh sorry, I don't think I should be saying that because I haven't heard from you in a month."

"Nah it's fine. I have gotten better actually. I am just still here for Mags. I was in Australia actually that's why I couldn't reply to your text messages. Claudia! Ross is here."

She quickly took the computer away and put it on her lap while sitting on my bed. They talked for a while and then Riker came in the picture.

"Hey, who's the blondie?" He asked obviously talking to me. When he realized it was me he screamed my name smiling. He complimented me on my looks and asked for Mags. We all talked about their tour and what not.

"Hey Mar, have you talked with Ratliff lately?" Riker asked.

"No, I haven't. How is he by the way?"

"He's good! He's here actually. He just walked in. Do you want to say hi?"

I shook my head no.

"So how is Chris?" Ross asked oblivious that Ratliff doesn't know I'm dating him.

"He's doing great! He's turning 20 tomorrow and I was going to celebrate with him by going to this rave party."

"That's great! But we need to go now actually. See you guys in a week!" We all said our goodbyes and then I got a call from Chris.

~phone convo~

M- Hey

C- I got bad news.

M- kay..

C- I can't hang out tomorrow. My dad just came in town and wants to have some time together. I asked if I can bring you but he said no. Sorry. We can do something when I get back in about a week.

M- Ok. Have fun with your dad!

C- Thanks Babe. Bye.

M- Bye.

~end of conversation~

"Why the gloomy face?" Claudia asked.

"I guess I can't hang out with Chris tomorrow." I said falling face first on my bed.

"OW!" I screamed sitting up immediately. My eye hit still open laptop.

"I'll get the steak!" Claudia offered running out of the room.

"Why?" Mags asked.

"His dad is in town. Chris asked if I can have dinner with him and his dad but his dad said no."

"You know what that means?"

"Umm.."

She jumped on my lap. Dang she lost a lot of weight.

"Romeo! Runneth away with your beloved..Mags!" She said dramatically.

"Sure." I replied.

"Really?!" Her face got excited.

I nodded my head. I only said yes because I wanted to spend as much time as I can with her. I know she's dying.

"Got it!" Claudia said barging in.

I explained that I'm coming with them and she got really excited also. The rest of the night they helped me pack and we went to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about what it'll be like to see Ratliff again. Or how he will react.
