Chapter 16

RATLIFF POV

"Hey babe! How do I look?" I glance over to see my girl friend wearing high top jeans. We are over at American Apparel.

"Looks nice." I reply. It's been 3 hours of shopping. I am tired, hungry, and that's about it. My girl friends name is Lani. We've been dating for 2 months and lets just say.. we'll I don't know what to say. I start wondering around the store until I came upon this huge picture. 'How did I not see this?' I thought. The model was blond with some tiny dreads. She's supper tan and she was wearing high top jeans with a basic white tank top. She is stunning. Her eyes looked dark and deceiving like you don't know if you should stare at them all day or run away.

"She's pretty. I wish I look like her." Lani said behind me. I nod my head and look closely. They were the same eyes I could look into all day. Her lips bright red and full.

"Oh. My. Goodness." I said when I realized who it is.

"What?"

"Marina."

"It's Lani! Who's this Marina chick?"

I still stared at her. Oh wow she's beautiful. She looks even healthier.

"I got to go. I'll see you later. Ohkay?" I said before I kissed her forehead still looking at Mar. I walked out of the store quickly and ran back to the hotel. I ran through the door to see Riker and Ross talking to the computer. I didn't even bother hear what they were saying. I just needed the computer. They finally ended and Ross looked at me.

"Dude. You look like you just saw a ghost." I took the laptop and typed in Mar's name. Modeling photos for American Apparel came up. She's a natural.

"Marina! Wow she's pretty." Riker said looking over my shoulder. I silently walked into my bed and just laid there. Tears coming from my eyes but no sound came out.

Mar POV

We walked through the airport and found Mark standing there waiting for us with our luggage. He gave us all hug and explained how it was all to go down for their concert. He brought us to the same hotel but put the luggage in a place in the tour bus that nobody will be able to see. We all got ready in the hotel restrooms. I wore a black, mini skirt and a plain white t-shirt. Along with black boots with studs around the toe area. My hair was high up in a pony-tail and straightened. My makeup done like the way I had it for New Years night. Claudia wore a yellow jump suit with black wedges and a black leather jacket. Her hair was curly on the ends and her makeup was natural with some lip gloss. Mags wore the black dress I let her borrow and blue wedges. Her hair in a sock bun and she wasn't wearing any makeup but cover up and mascara. It actually only took us 10 minutes to get ready. We waited for the ok from Mark. We went in a taxi and followed them to their concert.

I was excited not going to lie. For them of course.

We got finally got there and when the band ran inside I hung out with the girls in the line while Claudia and Mags went inside. I would've gone with them but I am not dating Ratliff anymore.

"OH.MY.GOSH. You're that model for American Apparel!"

"Didn't you date Ratliff?"

"Why did you guys break up?"

"I follow your tumblr!" Were some of the things I heard from their fans. I took pictures with some of them and talked with them. It came time to go to the Q&A but when it did about 5 girls asked if I could hang out with them for the concert. We all got up to the front and that's when they came out.

"Ratliff! Look who's here!" One of the girls that I was with screamed.

Ratliff POV

"Ratliff! Look who's here!" I heard a fan say. I looked down to see who it was. that's when our eyes locked. She did a slight smile and waved. I waved back feeling like I was going to pass out. Which I did.

I woke up seeing a girl with her face just above mine. I blinked hoping to see Mar but instead I saw Lani. She smiled at me and dabbed a wet cloth against my forehead. I frowned because I didn't want to see her. She bent down to kiss me and I tried to miss but I didn't. We were stopped when the door swung open. My heart fluttered when I saw her. She smiled at me which gave me butterflies.

"I wanted to see how you are doing." 'Dang her accent got stronger.' I thought. She laughed and I blushed realizing I talked out loud.

'Her laugh is amazing. I wish I could've made her laugh when I had her.'

"What?!" Lani screeched. Dang it I said it out loud again.

"You should leave." Lani told Mar standing up walking up close to her face. Mar is a head taller than her. I got up and Lani told me to sit back down.

MAR POV

I missed him so much. he looks great with that hair cut. He kept on walking up to me and gave Shorty here a hug from behind. She smiled at me as if saying 'I got him. You don't.' But then her smiled faded because he wasn't hugging her. He was moving her to the side.

"Can I hug you?" He asked. I was so excited but it was hard to hid it. So I just nodded and opened my arms. When he touched me my heart fluttered and my butterflies went insane.

"Hi."

"Hey."

We stood there for a minute enjoying each other's company until Shorty decided to tap my head. I hate that. Lucky for me i learned self defense. Before she could tap my head a third time I caught her wrist and put enough pressure there to make her feel pain.

"Don't touch me unless you want to have your wrist pop out." I said basically looking in her soul. I let go and looked back up to Ellington.

"How much did you gain?"

"10 pounds."

"That's great. Still at the clinic?"

"Yeah. Only for Mags though."

"She getting..?"

"Worse."

"Is she here?"

"Yes. Along with Claudia. But shhhh. It's a secret." I brought my finger up to my lips when I said 'shhh.'

"Walk with me out?"

I nodded. When we walked out the door the Lynch's were there. I hugged them all.

"You look so pretty!" Rydel complemented.

After a while their concert started. I went back with my group so i could record when Claudia and Mags surprises them. Around their 4th song Rocky took the mic.

"Hey guys! Remember that stunning girl Ratliff dated?" Everybody cheered to the question.

"Marina! Come on up." I obeyed and Ratliff played a sick drummer intro.

"Hi guys!" I said in the mic.

"Why did you guys break up?!" A fan screamed at me. I turned to him to see if I got the ok. I turned back to hear another fan say, "How did he break your heart?"

"He didn't actually. I broke up with him. I was going through a tough time and I thought he was spending to much time with me then things he'd enjoy. So i told him to be happy and the only way that could happened is breaking up with him."

"Do you miss him?!"

"Yes I do. Every second of the day."

"Do you miss her?!"

"I do. She's so talented, beautiful, her personality has gotten so much better than the last time I saw her. Sorry."

"Apology accepted!"

"I love you, Marina." I turned to see him bright red. I could tell he was thinking that and didn't mean to say it out loud. A pile of awes surrounded the room. He got up and I was expecting him to run of stage but instead he ran to me and held me.

I didn't care about the awes in the room.

Because I still love him.
